Banner and color order in the name can't be changed
This title is confusing, I know. But the problem is: the color names used in the banners are already translated. What's the problem? Apparently no problem, but this will mess up the translations in the future - in my language, for example, the color name should appear after the item name. So, translating only "banner" will have unexpected results when the translation comes.

instead of
%s Banner
put
Banner %s
but translate the word banner.
Oh, ok. But actually this will create another error: in some languages, the adjective words have gender; so, depending of the translation, it will be wrong. It's easier having the system as it is for stained glass, wool, clay, etc: word by word.
Confirmed and cannot really understand why it is resolved as "Invalid".
Probably they did this overhasty and then when version 1.8 comes out they get spammed by "Wrong translation"...
The bug is indeed that there is only the item.banner.name translation, while for example stained glass has all translations for the colors:
Fixed for Minecraft 1.8-pre 2
