MC-75844The "Banners Cleaned" stat rarely works
No matter how many banners you wash up, the "Banners Cleaned" stat will always show 0
What I expected to happen was...:
The "Banners Cleaned" stat number would increase by 1 each time a banner is washed/cleaned up
What actually happened was...:
The "Banners Cleaned" stat stayed to 0
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Get a water bucket, a cauldron, a crafting table, a banner and some dyes
2. Fill the cauldron with water
3. Put a pattern on the banner using the dyes
4. Make sure to check the Banners Cleaned stat before cleaning the banner.
5. Clean up the banner.
6. Check the Banners Cleaned stat again. The stat will still have the number 0.

Pretty weird, huh? I mean, it always shows 0 in Creative Mode.
I tried cleaning banners in Survival, Creative and Adventure modes.
Survival: The banner cleaned up but the stat showed 0.
Creative: The banner cleaned up but the stat also showed 0.
Adventure: The banner cleaned up but the stat still showed 0.
Are you using commands, perhaps?
EDIT: Apparently, after cleaning 3 banners, the stat showed 1.

Sorry for having a life besides the bug tracker.
Cannot confirm on Windows 7. Worked for me both in survival and creative.
The new stats are only updated on servers running the new server version. Older server versions will not count these stats, so they will remain 0.

I made the report while the game was on 1.8.2-pre1, I have been able to reproduce this on 1.8.2-pre4 however.
I created a new world on 1.8.2-pre4, and the Banners Cleaned stat still not worked properly.
I'm going to attach the Game Output from the launcher from when I created the world:
Using the achievement command worked but in the stats screen it did not update visually. I'm saying visually because when I gave myself the stat the first time, it showed 0, but when I gave it to myself again, it showed 2.
I was able to reproduce this on the 1.8.2 release. I made the chilean flag, then cleaned up the banner and the stat showed 1, but when I wanted to clean it again, it still showed 1.
What you experience might be
