I was playing with these new stuff in 13w04a and I got shot by my own dispenser and I got weird death message.
"Pokepika was shot by arrow."

I don't see a problem. You were shot by an arrow from a dispenser, so that was your death message.
I just seems kinda weird. You were shot by arrow.
Reopened and renamed. Please be more specific in the title for future bug reports.

Seems like "<player> was shot by an arrow" would suffice.

This isn't a feature request, it's an error report - a missing word in a death message. If the error is in the en_US language, then it needs to be reported here on the bug tracker. If it's in any other language, it should be dealt with via the translation project pages. Reason being, errors in the en_US language version cannot be corrected via the community translation project.
This seems to be fine grammar, since the name of the arrow entity is "arrow". If the arrow did not have a name, then the death message would need to be "Player was shot by an arrow"
