MC-9209Minecraft crashed when opening a chest.
When playing minecraft, whether it is in SP or in SMP, the game will freeze instantly when opening a chest! There is no crash report. The only thing that I can get is by running minecraft with a console open. Just as the game freezes, the following is printed into the console.

Ogg header not recognized in method 'readHeader'.

I have force updated many times and this still occurs no matter what.

Corrupt sound file.
Redownload the sounds. Either press F3 + S in game or leave the game, delete the folder .minecraft/resources/ and restart the game, redownloading the sounds will take several minutes.
Please report if that fixes your problem.
