If possible, could you please include details about your system (RAM, CPU, GPU spec)?
You can run dxdiag and copy the relevant information from there. (Win+R → dxdiag) - be sure to remove any personal information, just the PC specs would be useful.

Similar issue with me. I get the “X3DAudio1_7.dll was not found” error when trying to start my game. I’ve reinstalled it many times, still nothing.
Pc specs:
AMD Radeon(TM) RX 560 Series (2GB VRAM)
AMD Fx(TM)-6300 Six-core (3.5GHz)
8Gb, 1x8gb (DDR unknown) 1600MHz
(I’m using my sisters Pc so I am unfamiliar as why it doesn’t say the type of ram and just “unknown”)
same issue- i don't think it has to do with system specs, i'm sure we're missing files
I have managed to fix the issue on my PC,
I ran
C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft Dungeons Launcher\products\dungeons\dungeons\Engine\Extras\Redist\en-us\UE4PrereqSetup_x64.exe
as it appeared that my UE4 setup had not been fully completed during installation
After that, I ran the game from
C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft Dungeons Launcher\products\dungeons\dungeons\Dungeons.exe
I haven't tried it from within the launcher but I assumed the launcher just called this exe?
Hi, I got the same error code. I fixed it after following
Jonathan Sweetland's report (thanks btw) and completing the UE4 setup. I ran the game within the launcher and it starts without issues. As Jonathan Sweetland already suggested: It just looks like the launcher doesn't fully complete the installation.
Also same error here. DxDiag.txt

Also got this error on a Surface Book 2. Super easy fix (from a fellow game dev) - just lump the DX runtime install as part of the game install.
Mojang has released a help article about this topic: https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/articles/360041102892-Windows-version-of-Minecraft-Dungeons-cannot-find-drivers-MSVCP140-dll-and-VCRUNTIME140-dll
Edit: I'm not sure if it's about the same issue as this ticket is about, but it might be worth a try.
To violine1101's comment above ^. That error shown in the help file is specifically about missing DLLs from the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Runtime. The errors mentioned in this ticket (X3DAudio1_7.dll & XAPOFX1_5.dll) are DirectX DLLs which come from the DirectX runtime I mentioned in my previous comment - so unfortunately, that help article is not relevant here. There should probably be another help file specifically about these DLLs, the resolution being to install the DirectX Runtime.
This should be fixed for the full release and the game should install the proper dependencies.
We also have an article on our support site that will assist if the game fails to find the dependencies:
