Unable to start Ancient Hunt - menu loops between "Start Ancient Hunt" and "Confirm Difficulty"
This issue occurs if you are trying to sacrifice enchanted items whose total number of used Enchantment Points exceeds the number of your remaining Enchantment Points. Until this issue is resolved, please consider using unenchanted items as offerings for Ancient Hunts.
At this screen when I click "start ancient hunt" it sends me back to the confirm difficulty menu.

Same here as well, happens to me in Nintendo Switch Edition
Only happened to me once on my Nintendo Switch. All that happened is my game froze and, well that's it.

This never occured to me, maybe I have to play more ancient hunts to come across this issue. Was this singleplayer or multiplayer?
For me it was on singleplayer on the Nintendo Switch.
Question to the users who suffer from this issue: Did any of you have negative enchantment points at the time you were trying to start Ancient Hunt? If yes, can you please tell us how you managed to have negative enchantment points?
i suffer on my alternate character
Same issue for me. Not exactly negative enchantment points but I was committing (offering) points from armour that was included in the offering. I had 1 point available, the armour had 18, I was offering 8 points.
Everyone, did you have the right number of points? You need the right amount of enchantment points.
Check how much enchantment points you have. Do you have the right amount of points for the ancient Hunt?
I had 6 out of 6, how much is needed to begin? I see, dude on screenshots can't start with 9
