Getting stuck inside a building during Ancient Hunt
I do not know how to currently replicate this bug, i will be sending small 5 or 10 second videos showing the situation.
Not really that big of an issue, but still really frustrating to have to do the mission again.

I do not know how to currently reproduce this bug, i will be sending small 5 or 10 second videos showing the situation.

When I have experienced this bug, it has always been when I can't see the glowing entrance into the room. I think that is how you duplicate it. Also, for me, it has always been in a crimson forest.

Have you tried to use the new Return To Checkpoint option in the pause menu added in 1.8.0.0?
yes, i have, and it teleported me to inside of it. + added a clip of me trying to teleport out of it for proof
It also happens in camp. Check this short clip of me dying on purpose and being teleported in the new cave entrance

Have you tried rolling or using a light feather to get out of that place?
rolling, yes, but i do not have a light feather. (i also went back to camp after a while so i cant test anymore)

Can confirm that I also ran into this issue in this exact building, return to checkpoint brought me back to the same spot I already was in, so not really helping much.
I also ran into this issue, there's an invisible barrier in front of the door preventing you from getting out.

I have run into this issue many times. Every time it has happened, it has always been when I can't see the glowing section of the doorway but I can still go through the door. I think that is how it is duplicated.
Same thing for me. Looks like an issue with Crimson Forest buildings when you can't see the blue glow of the door.
same exact issue. During ancient hunt went in an entrance with no blue glow. Now stuck in the building - waste of my sacrificed items....
Does placing down a scatter mines help? Maybe if you take damage, you can get out..? Also, this is just a random suggestion. It might not work. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
@astrokitty sadly this does not work since the entrance counts as a checkpoint and you just spawn there if killed, if you enter one of these you might as well collect and head back to camp.
if you play in an online game, you can also use the teleport button to teleport to another player outside the "death trap or the stuck trap"... right? Or does the teleport button not work?
happens to me too but on the switch, not sure if it makes much of a difference
