MCL-163Mac Minimized Minecraft Icon Lower Resolution
Minecraft, Since i can remember, on macs, the minimized icon has a lower resolution than the normal application icon , but it is just sightly noticeable , But now, with the new snapshot...
It's just ridiculous.
I put 3 screenshots here, the 3rd one are the normal old and new launcher icons ( the same )
The 2nd one is the old , from 1.5.1 to older versions minimized icon
The 1st and last one is the new snapshot minimized icon
Edit: The Snapshot one is not the minimized version , I've just noticed, It's the main icon , the application itself after the launcher opens the real game, It's the real game's icon , making it even worse, I can't believe it

Nobody cares about macs anyway... "Meh, Mac, less users, less money, Let's just totally ignore them, time is money , they are not worth the time"

Have you redownloaded the launcher? The icon is part of the launcher that can't automatically update itself. This was already reported at MCL-163, which was marked fixed a long time ago.
I suggest you attach screencaps of the icon, both with the launcher visible and minimized, at MCL-163, and explain that you're still experiencing this on 1.3.11.
I don't know if that's intended , But if it is, I'd like to know why, Because no matter how much I think about it , i see no reason for that

You already have them, they are used in the MinecraftDev.app, just copy of icon file
Nah we need new assets, we need a diff icon for the launcher and the game so there is no confusion between them.

We has assets! The latest version of the launcher users it already, the bootstrap (the .dmg/exe) aren't updated yet.

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft Launcher version 2.0.805 / 2.0.806? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases. If this has been done, we can reopen the issue.
Keep in mind that the "Resolved"-Status on this ticket just means "Answered", and that we are waiting for further information on whether this issue still exists or not. It will be reopened it as soon as the requested information has been delivered.
