When reopening the Minecraft Launcher after a long period of time, or rebooting, on Linux. When logging in with the existing session, I just get a message that says "An error occurred during the login process" and get kicked back to the login screen, where I have to log in again with my Microsoft account

Thank you @nothing999 , but the "fixed" version is older than my "affects" version. I understand it might be a lot to ask, but I can be helpful even for the helpers marking issues as duplicates, to glance at the different issues to see if they are actually duplicates.

MCL-18924, so this ticket is being resolved and linked as a duplicate.That ticket has already been resolved as Fixed. Please check the Fix Version/s field in that ticket to see in which version this behavior was or will be fixed.
