MCPE-113573Made an IronGolem farm but golem is not spawning. Only Cats does....
Hello Guys! I have followed a guide on Youtube to build an Iron Golem Farm.
We have tried to build one in our previous world and it is working. But when We try to build in our new realm, it spawns nothing but cats...
The only difference is we build it within a mountain... but the top part is open air...
We have tried to destroy all beds and workbench and placed it back, but it still not working.
We can't figure out what's the problem here...

(Villager+door+bed) = HOUSE.
HOUSE+HOUSE+... = VILLAGE.
I think Golem spawn when exist a VILLAGE and not just some villagers.
I've made a Village(just for trade),sometimes Golem spawn inside the house(2 blocks space), and I can hear the Golem taking damage.

This could be because of the glass, or some other mechanics like villagers needing to work for a day and sleep for a day before they can work, or it could be because the villager already was traded with or already had the profession before.
So really I suggest that you re build the iron farm.

I pretty sure the thing would work because we have build it at our previous realm which is last month... and the tutorial is last year August's video.
Actually before we adding the glass, the Golem doesnt spawn too.. We added the glass coz of the zombie and creeper keeps going into the farm..
Rebuild the farm ... would like it to be the last option QuQ Thank you for the tutorial video! Will try again if gonna remake! T^T

Well I dont want to sound rude or anything but mechanics have changed a lot since last august, especially with the spawning of iron golems.
But if you REALLY dont want to build another iron farm, then the problem could be that you have put the farm too low near caves, this affects your spawn rate as if other mobs are spawning (in caves) then that could be the thing affecting it.
May I also ask if you could give me the video of the farm?
I know it sounds like a lot so don't be pressured.
Could you possibly check if you are game is on easy, normal, or hard and if that doesn't work then check if mob spawning is on and if it is at least 100 blocks away from another village.

We have switched it to hard mode, monsters and cats spawned but no golem too. We actuall digged out the filled mountain to make the farm though... hmmm. weird... Also we have flied around and dont have any village in sight.

Door! May I know which part to add doors?

EVEGENSYPERPRO Those are totally unrelated bugs.
I use essentially the same farm design and if it stops working, usually going out about 5-6 chunks away from midpoint of the farm, waiting a few seconds, and coming back makes it start working again.
Villages do not consider doors in golem spawning so that would be useless.
