Summary:
When replacing a wet sponge with a dry one in water, the dry sponge does not remove water. This behavior occurs only when replacing the wet sponge block, when replacing any other block, the water is successfully removed, and the dry sponge turns into wet.
Also does not match the java version.
Steps to reproduce:
- Place a wet sponge in the water.
- Replace the wet sponge with a dry one with the command (/setblock, /fill).
- Place any block in water (that does not break in water).
- Replace the placed block with a dry sponge with the command (/setblock, /fill).
Observed results:
When replacing a wet sponge with a dry sponge, the game is cheated and the water is not removed, and the sponge does not become wet.
Expected results:
When you replace a wet sponge with a dry in water, the dry sponge will get wet and remove blocks of water.

1-1. Place a observer using /setblock ~~-1 ~ observer ["minecraft:facing_direction"="west"] or just place a observer but facing west.
