Whenever I try to do an achievement, it doesn't show and I look at the tab but it says locked.

Do MCPE-14534, MCPE-15442, or MCPE-10840 describe your issue?
Are you sure you're trying to get the achievements in a survival world that has always been in survival mode and has never been switched to creative and back at any point?
Oh, so it doesn't work if its been switched to creative even once. That's sad
I guess this can be marked as not a bug, then.
[~zebulanstanphill@gmail.com] Can you confirm that you've received any achievements recently in Minecraft Windows 10 edition?
Unfortunately I haven't done anything to get an achievement in a long time, since I've been playing in Creative worlds for the most part, so I'm afraid not.
Switching to creative will disable attaining any more achievements on that world.
