Addon block tick events don't work when generated
When generated, custom block events triggered by random_ticking and queued_ticking don't function. (random ticking no longer works as of 1.20.50 as of 1.20.51 random_ticking now works again)
Steps to Reproduce:
Option A
- Download and install provided Add-On (GenBugTestAddon2 (Thank you Legopitstop for fixing/updating the add-on))
- Select "Create New" then "Create New World"
- Select "Creative", then click "Cheats" and enable cheats. (Recommended but not required)
- Select "Behavior Packs" and activate provided pack (Should be called GenBugTestAddon)
- Select "Experiments", and enable Holiday Creator Features, and Custom Biomes
- Select "Create" and wait for the world to generate
Option B
- Create or download and install an Add-On that generates blocks which have events triggered by ticking.
- Select "Create New" then "Create New World"
- Select "Creative", then click "Cheats" and enable cheats. (Recommended but not required)
- Enable both the resource pack and behavior pack
- Select "Experiments", and enable options recommended by the add-on
- Select "Create" and wait for the world to generate
Observed Results:
Blocks generated will do nothing, however if you place them yourself they will have their functionality. (As of 1.20.50, block events triggered by random_ticking no longer function regardless)
Expected Results
Blocks generated in the provided Add-On "GenBugTestAddon2" should emit particles above themselves alike to when they are placed. (Blocks in the additional Add-On "RandomTickingBug" should say "Hello" in chat randomly when placed.) Blocks in other Add-Ons should function alike to when they are placed.

In 1.20.50 random_ticking doesn't seem to work at all.
Problem with our server as well.
I've added an addon for the random_ticking bug
Do we have an update on this? Our world is not able to function without our add on back from Legopitstop with the Lots More Food and Crops.
The server I play on is having an issues with this bug. The lots more food pack items will not grow specifically the crops, fertile soil does not work either. please fix this as soon as possible to resolve this issue for the players who use the lots more food packs!!! our server cannot function properly without this pack working again as the whole server and our way to get the server currency is based around this entire mod pack!!!
I would suggest adding the "blocks" label to the report, now that after 1.20.50 it doesn't affect only world-generate blocks.
random_ticking is confirmed fixed in 1.20.51. I still need to test it using worldgen.
Ok, In 1.20.51 random_ticking works both when generated and when placed by hand. But queued_ticking only works when placed by hand and not when generated
I've updated GenBugTestAddon (called GenBugTestAddon2 since I can't delete it) so that world generation works
