I have a block placing issue that I can't place Red Terracotta in one place where it has no barriers or border blocks that prevents me from placing it and I don't know if this is an issue or not.
Please help me because I need to build this bridge so it can be another city!

Could you please compress your original world folder to a zip or tar.xz file, and then upload that file to Google Drive, and then give a public link to it?

It doesn't work still.
It doesn't work and I added the best as I can.
Are you able to place any other color of terracotta, or does it only affect red? Does it let you place other kinds of blocks? Has this ever happened before, in the same world, or another?
Also, if possible, please try and be a little more descriptive and/or show us more of the surrounding build. Additional context would greatly be appreciated.
The attached .mp4 file is only audio. It does not contain any more information than the text in the report.
Please answer the questions asked by KR and provide a video if possible.
I apologize if my previous message caused any confusion. In the MP4 video I shared, I was attempting to demonstrate an issue I encountered while playing the game. Specifically, when I press or hold the L2 button, I am unable to build in a particular location, which is frustrating as I am trying to construct a bridge for my city project. No barriers or borders are obstructing the area, so I suspect it may be a bug. I am unsure how to resolve this issue, but I will experiment by placing different colours of terracotta in the affected area to see if that resolves the problem. I will keep you updated on my progress if this problem carries on.
Is there any other way to fix this or no?
I will go on my PlayStation and test the other terracottas.
I attempted to place terracotta of various colours, but unfortunately, they all behaved similarly to red terracotta. Additionally, I encountered difficulties when attempting to add other blocks, as the game prevented me from doing so. This behaviour is quite peculiar and unexpected.
What are the coordinates of the affected location?
Is the is flat world or normal world?
Are there any entities nearby?
Are there any entities at the 0, 0, 0 in the world?
Have you used any addons in this world?
We need to figure out what is triggering the problem before we can make any guess at how to fix it. Based on past experience I expect it is something specific in the world triggering this.
I have used some addons.
Hi,
can you please attach a world needed to help reproduce issue? Also let us know what addons you used.

If I may ask, what do you mean by attaching the world. I will also send a photo based on addons I use.
I sent two photos of the world and the addons I use. I will try remove some addons myself to see of the issue has been fixed and this issue will count as resolved or if the issue needs to stay there.
I got a hard drive which is PS4 connected to my PS5.
I tried so many USBs, but it doesn't support it.
I'm not sure I understand. Have you tried following the steps exactly?
You know what, never mind. I copied the world to my USB. I know the way.
I will attach a file when I am on PC.
I had to insert the file with .bin because the normal file exceeded the maximum megabytes.
So please help me fix it and I will make sure to insert the saved data back to my USB which is used for Windows 11 bootable installer.
Please let me know when you fixed the world so I can have the file, thank you.
Hello,
I have followed the steps precisely using a USB dedicated solely for Windows 11 installation. I have attached the exact world file that exhibits the block-placing bug. However, please note that the file has a .bin extension due to its size exceeding the maximum allowed megabytes.
I would greatly appreciate it if you could attempt to resolve this issue. Thank you for your continuous assistance over the past few days.
Best regards,
Ekam R
You could upload the world externally (via Google Drive for example), and share the link here. Just make sure to set the link to public and ensure there's not any sensitive information. Having the world formatted as a .bin file isn't the most convenient, that's why I'd strongly recommend uploading it externally.
How do I upload it to Google Drive, it doesn't make sense...
I am going to send this link here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1QBF3mhMvZ-7Slj7fdWT7q7gNRhrMMetI/view?usp=sharing
This is the link of my city which is Joyrich City, I can also show you the block placing bug.
The block placing bug is at the bridge.
Your file of world was unable to open this format to import the world, Also when renamed to .zip file will cause invalid.
What do I do then?
Mojang will take a look at this when it goes through their triage queue. I can't give any exact dates on when that will happen though.
New link updated, hope it works: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1RTGEpZ5OuSdZMR8gddb7CW2M5bEsbWC5/view?usp=sharing
Thank you so much.
Guess what? Surprisingly, when I placed a block on the place where it was glitched, it worked. Thank you so much for helping me.
This issue can now be in a tag which is solved.
