We're actually already tracking this issue at MCPE-21, so I will resolve and link this ticket as a duplicate.
That ticket has already been resolved as working as intended, which means this is not considered a bug and won't be fixed. Please do not leave a comment on the linked ticket.

This most likely isnt a bug. Maybe the dev's wanted this...
You can do this in the real Minecraft in creative.
The bug is that you have to hold or click 4 times to destroy it and its not available in the creative inventory. Bedrock CAN be destroyed in PC Minecraft, it's also used as a building material, so i think it should be added to the pe inventory. The only problem is the invisible bedrock wall...

Mojang added instant break to creative mod so it is normal now you can break bedrock
Agreed, seems normal.
You should be able to see the bottom face of bedrock,instead of an x-ray view.
