Similar to MCPE-42343. I have found several items that appear through the particle effect.

I possibly know why, it's because there was a rendering issue with the campfire particles appearing behind most blocks and clouds in beta 1.11.0.1. See MCPE-42343.
Not fully fixed yet. Instead of fixing the particles, they lost their transparency (MCPE-46639).
I tried to reproduce this bug on 1.16.220.50 on Windows 10 and can confirm that they lost their transparancy, see:
. They completely lost their transparency as you can see with the blocks behind the bed
