Endermen seem to treat water very weird almost like the water is an entity itself...

Endermen seem to treat water very weird. Often while Endermen come into contact with water, they seems to try and go back to it almost like water is an entity itself or something and judging by how straight forward these Endermen move towards water, there is something wrong.

It also seems like the water source block might be treated as an entity as when the Endermen in the video run towards the water they for second will seem to try and go around the flowing water to try and safely get to the water source block.

I actually managed to find a bug report like this and it was marked "works as intended"
MCPE-9282so I guess Endermen just hate their life and finds water as the scapegoat..... poor Endermen....Also confirmed on Android, and the same for lava. They are not avoiding any water and lava though they take damage in both (only when they are attacking players/endermites will they try to avoid liquid) ...
But on Minecraft Wiki it says "endermen avoid water since 0.12.1"

Could you maybe try and record this bug on your device and attach it to this post. I recorded on my Xbox One but couldn't attach it due to xbox game captures having huge file sizes and I know not everyone is going to download my Mediafire file.

I'm unsure why this is counted as a duplicate. The bug report on
MCPE-9282had tagged versions that were before 0.12.1 and looking at the 0.12.1 catalog, it states that Endermen would avoid water. So at the time ofMCPE-9282, yeah it was resolved and deemed works as intended but now, it isn't which is why this shouldn't be considered to be resolved or a duplicate!So if a mod happens to be reading this and does agree with me, could you please reopen this report.
