Ravagers will not exit flowing water when it is pushed by the flowing water can will instead continue to float on the very edge of the 8th flowing water block. Breaks automatic raid farms. The ravagers also swim freely against water streams and refuse to fall when on the edge of the flowing water. Ravagers are able to fall into 2x2 holes because their hitboxes allow them to, but they just get caught on the water stream.
Steps to Reproduce :
1. Place water on the floor next to a wall and let the water flow to its max
2. Make a 2x2 hole at the end of the water (so that mobs can fall)
3. Spawn ravager in waterObserved Results :
Ravager does not fall and instead hovers at the very edge of the water streamExpected Results :
Ravager should fall into the hole

Also, while swimming, they are able to completely avoid magma blocks under the flowing water, which should normally damage them. Ravager1.mov

Beanathus: The issue you're talking about was reported in MCPE-41092, which was fixed (finally!) in 1.17.10. It should no longer be occurring, and indeed, I saw it for years in my own world in cow and sheep pens but it has stopped happening now.
If you're still experiencing that issue, please comment about it and provide any additional information, such as screenshots, in MCPE-41092.

I believe this links to my report (
MCPE-142171) where the ravager's hitbox allow them to basically float at the very edge of a water streamI've seen this happen many times in sheep pens, they will gather in corners and reduce wool generation efficiency because all of the sheep are standing on one dirt patch when there are plenty of grass blocks behind them
I relate to this, but my realm simply won't let me on. Every time I try to join I get a message saying "Disconnected from server". It's been happening for a couple days and nothing I try works so I'm pretty sure there's some kind of maintenance happening at Microsoft
This is an intended game mechanic
Works as intended
@GoldenHelmet That's good bug patch and all but I don't really want to have to download it in order for that to be fixed, so will it just be implemented into the game itself?
@GoldenHelmet I understand, and I thank you for working to make the game more enjoyable to play
So now, since there a patch you've made, where do we go from here? Is the issue resolved? What do we do now?
Reply from[Mod] GoldenHelmet: the pack I made has nothing to do with resolving this report, it is just a workaround I offered to anyone interested, and a way to test my assertion about speed and collision. This report tracks a bug in vanilla Minecraft and it will remain open until Mojang fixes the reported issue or the community abandons the report (meaning no one updates it for new release versions).
@GoldenHelmet Gotcha. I will keep updating this report when needed and I'll keep checking the report if anyone else adds anything.
The last part of this report ties in to my report (MPCE-142171)
When I created my realm, I was able to access it for the first 30 days and then when the free trial expired, I wasn't able to access it. It's been like this for 2 weeks and none of my friends were able to access the realm. I have the same issue when trying to manage my subscription. Like David said, is anyone even trying to fix this? Has anyone found the problem?
I agree with Mike Hatfield here, I contacted Mojang and got a response in 20 minutes and did the same thing Mike mentioned. So far my realm has kinda been working, but that doesn’t mean this problem has been resolved. It’s a temporary fix, and we don’t know how long the fix will last.
@Conall Ó Maonaigh yeah it’s a temporary fix for the farms and it works well but still doesn’t completely resolve the problem
