3. Generate the world, it doesn't matter whether it's on old or infinite.
4. Exit the world and then click on "edit world", notice the seed has been changed.
MCPE 1.6.100.60 still uses 32bit seeds, so 1.6.100.60 is still affected.
When entering a seed integer past 2147483647 or -2147483648, Minecraft changes the seed to be completely different.
What should happen: Entering a integer up to -9223372036854775808 or 9223372036854775807 should generate a seed with that integer. (example: seed:52968166106)
This bug is not fixed in MCPE 1.2 and will corrupt a console world's seed transferred to this version from a 64bit integer to a 32bit one.
What happened instead: Minecraft changes the seed to a completely different value. (seed 52968166106 always returns seed 1428558554)
This is problematic as PC and Consoles use a 64bit terrain gen and seeds and PE uses only a 32bit. It can change the seed of a console world when it's moved from CE to PE. And an unnecessary additional difference between PC/CE and PE seeds.
Recreating the bug:
1. Create a new world
2. Enter a integer in the seed box past 2147483647 or -2147483648
3. Generate the world, it doesn't matter whether it's on old or infinite.
4. Exit the world and then click on "edit world", notice the seed has been changed.
I always wondered why i never saw Mesa Plateau F on MCPE, Mojang, you have made a mistake.
I used MCPE viz to see the biomes, the user is correct. I took screenshots and used the map, rivers, Mesa Plateau to see correct biome placement. Seed used is 306959825.

Mesa Plateau F incorrectly generates an ordinary Mesa rather than as it's supposed to be.
Steps to reproduce
1. In MCPE 0.9.0 (beta???), generate any mesa seed.
Note any Mesa Plateau Fs found2. In MCPE 1.1.2, generate any mesa seed, compare with 0.9.0
Steps to reproduce (Alternate way)
1.In MCPE 1.1.2 generate any mesa seed
2a. Use any dev tool to view what biome you are in (F3 screen or dev tool)
2b. Generate full mesa, save map, use any external program, dev tool, or mcpe viz, to view the biomes
Mesa Plateau F generates a regular mesa instead of the usual plateaus found in a regular Mesa Plateau. You can still find the usual forest of trees if the mountain generates high enough, but is very rare. Mesa Plateau F M and the regular Mesa Plateau generate correctly.

*1734483989 is the other seed. What should happen: Mesa Plateau F generates the usual 20-30 block tall and flat plateau with forests scattered throughout.
What happens instead: Only a red sand flatland generates with sparse mountains found in a regular mesa. This bug exists in 1.1.4.
Summary: Mesa Plateau F generates a regular mesa instead of the usual plateaus found in a regular Mesa Plateau. You can still find the usual forest of trees if the mountain generates high enough, but is very rare. Mesa Plateau F M and the regular Mesa Plateau generate correctly. ALL seeds I checked have the same bug. Without an F3 menu screen, hard to reproduce bug since I can't view the biome I am in in the base game. You have to use an external program.
I regenerated the seed in 1.1.3, went out, back in, found the biome, still bugged. No mods, nothing, only the base game.

What should happen: Mesa Plateau F generates the usual 20-30 block tall and flat plateau with forests scattered throughout.
What happens instead: Only a red sand flatland generates with sparse mountains found in a regular mesa. This bug exists in 1.2.
I regenerated the seed in 1.2, went out, back in, found the biome, still bugged. No mods, nothing, only the base game.
Steps to reproduce

*BUG AFFECTS ALL WORLDS AND NEW WORLDS IN MCPE 1.2.6 FULL RELEASE*
What should happen: Mesa Plateau F generates the usual 20-30 block tall and flat plateau with forests scattered throughout.
What happens instead: Only a red sand flatland generates with sparse mountains found in a regular mesa. This bug exists in 1.2.6.

Whenever I fly in a cold ice biome, part of the cold taiga generates with no snow. If I use an external program to view biomes, it is entirely the cold taiga M. Some chunk generation generates strange snow boundaries as well as hills in the biome. It does snow correctly though.
I generated it in version 1.1.2, used MCPE viz, read only, to view biomes. Regenerated it in 1.1.3 and is still not generating correctly.
Seed 306959825, coords X-1000 Z800
Steps to reproduce
1. Generate a seed with a cold taiga M, you can use seed above

3. Use dev tool or external program to view biomes (generate and save terrain!)
Regenerated it in 1.1.3 and is still not generating correctly.

still an issue is MCPE 1.2.8 full release
EDIT, Also 1.2.9 is affected
I don't think it should marked as "working as intended". Both PC and Console use 64bit seeds. So when someone transfers a world from console, their seed ends up being changed. There are similarities between terrain gen on all consoles. It's frustrating how a seed on PC can work on console but there is no PE equivalent seed. PE only has 0.00000002% of possible seeds from PE or PC so that limits diversity of seeds. (PE seed equivalent). It should be marked as a bug until the devs switch PE over to a 64bit terrain gen from a 32bit.
AFFECTS MCPE VERSION 1.2.10. I used the seed 306959825 and noted the same issue, I don't see any tall birch trees in either Birch Forest M or Birch Forest Hills M biomes, I also explored the seed 35267400 to make sure it's not the only seed. I believe the bug is true by confirming all in a biome viewing program and generating a new world again.
bug affects 1.2.13
Yes bug affects 1.2.13
1.2.11 and 1.2.14.3 is affected
1.2.20.2 affected
Affects 1.4.2, 1.4.0, 1.5.0.4, and 1.5.0.7 update, both roofed forest variants
I attached a roofed forest M biome above
affects 1.5.3 and 1.6.0.10
MCPE is the only version of Minecraft using 32bit, Java and 4J studios Console edition use 64bit. So it limits possibilites of world seeds
if Java and Console use 64bit integer seed, why can't bedrock do the same, why does it have to be truncated to 32bit?
That's not how to confirm or disprove a world generation bug, a world generation bug, you MUST create a NEW world in the correct version.
Also, you need to know the actual biome, it could be regular roofed forest or roofed forest M, you must prove on your own it's actually the M mutated one and not the regular one.
This is a duplicate report of what I reported it a while ago, I reported it earlier as 33759, so the mods need to redirect bug 36504 to bug to 33759
https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCPE-33759.
you loaded the Roofed Forest M chunks in the distance in 1.4.2 even if you didn't enter the biome. That's why I say to create a new world from scratch in the bugged version to check the issue correctly. So when you load the Roofed Forest M chunks you load it in the 1.5 version.
the bug didn't affect 1.4.2 as far as I was aware, 1.4.2 did generate roofed forest M correctly. This bug existed beginning in like alpha 0.10 or 0.11, the bug was later fixed at some point in the 1.2 beta or release. Then in 1.5 beta the bug came back and exists in the release version. The bug doesn't affect 1.6 beta.
this is a duplicate of bug
MCPE-42317I have windows 10 pro on my computer and windows 10 home on a laptop, both are on version 1803, and my xbox insider account is enrolled in the minecraft beta insider program.
I have an existing install of minecraft on the laptop, and my computer doesn't have minecraft.
Updating the laptop copy of minecraft to v1.11.0.1 beta; it crashes on startup. A fresh install on the computer also produces the same result, a crash on startup

please fix the Bedrock roofed forest grass color bug, mojang/microsoft.
Also while we're at it, Birch Forest M/Birch Forest Hills M and Savanna M/Savanna Plateau M have the same grass color problem Instead being the correct biome color, they have the same incorrect green color like the roofed forest and roofed forest M.
The wiki called it a feature, they don't know it's a bug.
Mesa Plateau (Badlands Plateau)
biomes list:
regular badlands plateau (no variant)
dark forest

no no no, when savanna mountains were first introduced back in Java 1.7.2/TU31, they had the brown grass color, however when the bug first came up around Bedrock 1.6, it never appeared in the changelog or bug fix columns, so it is a new bug that needs fixing
1.16.40 is older build than 1.16.100
for the last sentence, 2.1474836 billion
yep, super annoying, artificially makes witch huts and finding mountains rarer, since there's too much plains biome. mismatch in the code, it is a big bug.
reproducing this every 2 weeks on the latest build, no one has fixed it
the description says it probably is fixed
This bug is RESOLVED - FIXED as of the current version
Can confirm for 1.20.1
Also, change the title to include "Stained Glass Pane", I was searching for this issue using the terms "Stained Glass Pane", but couldn't find it.
Can confirm in 1.20.1. Walls and Bamboo Mosaic are in the items tab instead of the building blocks tab. The tabs need reorganization.
why can't glass panes use 3D models like Bedrock Edition? This way there would be a shadow on the light gray stained glass pane and people can see it.
Affects 1.20.15
Affects 1.20.15 for both cut sandstone and cut red sandstone
Affects release 1.20.30
Affects 1.20.30
Please fix all links site-wide all across minecraft.net to the new minecraft wiki at minecraft.wiki. Old fandom wiki is being vandalized and sometimes those staying behind to clean that up have huge delays in reverting it, so the links to new MC wiki needs fixing asap.
This bug of the fandom wiki still being linked still has not been fixed. ALL links site-wide need to be changed to the brand new minecraft.wiki and remove minecraft.fandom.com all across the entire site.
This bug is present still across the site. Needs fixing site-wide.
