I am having this problem on the latest snapshot. Fully grown wheat is dropping 1 wheat, no seeds.
While in the anvil interface, put an item in the open slot as if you are about to modify it using the anvil.
Note that if you are currently mousing over an item in your inventory, the item name in the anvil (where you can change it) is not blurry and easy to read.
Now mouse over an empty slot and you will notice the item name (where you can change it) is now blurry and is somewhat difficult to read.
If you mouse over the item in the Anvil slot (where the first item goes), the name is not blurry.
If you click into the area to change the name, the text remains blurry while editing it.
Screenshots attached (actually, you can't take a screenshot while in the anvil interface (perhaps also a bug?) so these were captured using Windows screenshots).
Apologize if already reported as I couldn't find it.
I also checked to see if it was perhaps something to do with having the debug setting to show item durability. I turned it off and the problem persists after on fresh starts of Minecraft without this debug setting enabled.
It was not an issue prior to this snapshot.
Windows 7 64-Bit,
latest JAVA versionWindows 7 64-Bit, Java version is build 1.7.0_45-b18
Unresolved in 14w26b
Not playing in Debug mode (not even sure how to play in debug mode).
Giant strips of the nether are missing. Looks impressive but is obviously massively wrong.Lava doesn't flow into missing 'strips' where huge sheer cliffs go from lower bedrock to higher bedrock. Looks exactly as it is does in the original poster's screenshots. Hopefully, this will be reopened and fixed before release of a non-snapshot version.
@Dylanthalus This issue is fixed for the next upcoming snapshot.

Problem still exists in newest snapshot. Experienced on single player hard survival. small fenced in area 1x7, both chickens and cows escaping for no apparent reason.
Not sure why Michael McCluskey is unable to reproduce this issue. Hoping others can confirm as it happens for me every time I restart Minecraft using the snapshot profile.
I have previously installed both Forge and Optifine but the snapshot profile is not configured to use Optifine. Otherwise, my install is 100% vanilla. This problem does not exist when running other profiles not configured to use the snapshots.
cannot reproduce under 13w42b. Appears the newest update resolved this issue. Was reported under 13w42a
In the latest snapshots, I have a skelly spawner farm at my home base. The farm uses a drop chute to damage the skellies before I kill with 1-2 hits for xp. Upon reloading, some of the skellies are out of the drop chute landing zone (a 1x1, encased in stone area except the for the kill slot which is not big enough for them to escape and is at their feet level). Sometimes they are wandering around my base, sometimes they are outside in the lake. They are clearly escaping the drop chute upon reload.a
Confirmation of same problem as noted by the OP when looking at a handheld map. Hopefully this is a bug as it looked better before.
I genuinely do not mean any offense but
MC-11271is a much better description of the problem that I was here to look for and/or report. Yet, that report is indicated as a duplicate of this report and this report doesn't seem to reflect the actual problem as I experienced it. That is that stone slabs are not returned after being broken by an axe. Also important, but also missing from this report, is that efficiency on the axe exacerbates the problem. This creates a significant problem when tree farming an area that has stone slabs floors or walls. It would be especially great to see this problem resolved for 1.7 as I have frequently lost blocks due to a poorly executed axe chop while using efficiency axes. If a block is broken quickly, it should return the block. If an efficiency tool can destroy a block in one hit, it should return the block. If the axe is made to not destroy slabs in one hit, that's great but any efficiency tool that is capable of destroying a block quickly should ensure the block is returned.Nice! Tx Grum! Pew pew. lol
Too bad. Really should be able to regrow the new trees. Calling Mojang lazy probably doesn't help though.
Doesn't matter to me if they have their own sapling or not as, if they produce the same kind of wood, it doesn't necessarily make sense that they have a new sapling type.
What does make sense is that if you plant a sapling from one of these trees in the correct biome, they produce the correct tree and that they drop the sapling that matches the wood they produce.
Reddit is for Minecraft ideas. This is not an idea. It is a note about naming conventions; an inconsistency relating to an item name. As I noted in the issue report, it is not a bug in the code but an inconsistency in naming which makes it an issue to be fixed, not an idea to consider.
As a player, I noted something unexpected. As a programmer, I noted something that I would want to fix if it were my program. Thanks for adding your opinion. I'll await a mod to decide if naming conventions are issues to be reported and wait to see if Mojang feels it's an issue to fix.
Pretty sure this has nothing to do with the number of players. I constantly have to restart minecraft from scratch to start showing my position on the map correctly. Not sure what causes it but it happens multiple times every time I play. I have maps in frames as well. Always works after a fresh start but stops after using the map or possibly after making new maps. Wish I could nail down why it's happening as having to restart minecraft from scratch gets annoying. Running 1.7 pre - release. Win7, latest java.
Aaron's suggestion for a map refresh option would be VERY helpful.
Just checked 1.7.1 and cannot reproduce the problem. Not sure what Jesse is doing to get the blurry text but the bug I reported was resolved under 13w42b
Continues to be a problem for me in 1.7.2. For now, I put animals in two deep holes and use a trap door to get out. That keeps them contained. Eventually, I build a barn around fenced in pens on ground level. It sucks the bug hasn't been fixed but there are ways to deal with it.
If fellow bug reporters want to complain about bugs, please do it elsewhere. I don't need notices everytime someone wants to berate Mojang or their staff. If there's valuable information about the bug, confirmation of continuance in a new version or potential ideas for fixes or workarounds, post away.
I've personally seen them escape from pens that were by no means overcrowded so pretty sure that this is not the problem.
exact same thing happened to me. black glass pane to white glass pane using silk touch pickaxe in snapshot 14w25b
Yeah, this is pretty serious bug Wes. I ran into it today. It's totally messed up.
Resolved, as in it's a duplicate. I made the same mistake yesterday.
Talk about a game stopping bug. Hope it is fixed post haste.
Confirming unassigned bug has been resolved.
never noticed with eating my own food but definitely noticed feeding a single apple to zombie villagers and losing two apples on one villager.
still making 1.8.1 games unplayable in single player worlds
For me, mobs were, at one time, getting knocked back in slow motion and they moved very slowly, again as if they were in slo-mo, right after the update to 1.8. This doesn't seem to be the same issue.
their path finding will also bring them back to trouble areas.
Noticed a large problem with villagers on or around beds on glass.
The random Ender-muggers are brutal. No normal form of agro is needed. They just want to "keel yoooo"
Mined 14 diamond ore blocks with Fortune 3 diamond pickaxe (also had unbreaking 3 and efficiency 4). Received 11 diamonds... from 14 blocks... with a fortune 3 pick.
cant reproduce? that's weird.
1 open minecraft bedrock on windows
2 connect to any server/realm
3 minimize the window (not alt-tab, actually minimize it)
4: bug reproduced. You will be disconnected, just for minimizing the window.
please reopen and fix this behaviour. we should have no issues minimizing our windows and certainly not be disconnected.
