Fortune enchantment no longer works
The fortune enhancement is not working properly on any of my pickaxes after the most recent update. I've tried it on all the ores that it would multiply the drop but I consistently get a single piece as if I was using an unenhanced pickaxe.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Obtain a pickaxe.
- Enchant the pickaxe with Fortune.
- Place a line of ores that should be affected by Fortune.
- Mine the ores using the Fortune pickaxe.
Observed Results:
The drops are not multiplied.
Expected Results:
The Fortune enchantment should have a chance to multiply the drops.

The fortune enhancement is not working properly on any of my pickaxes after the most recent update. I've tried it on all the ores that it would multiply the drop but I consistently get a single piece as if I was using an unenhanced pickaxe.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Obtain a pickaxe.
- Enchant the pickaxe with Fortune.
- Place a line of ores that should be affected by Fortune.
- Mine the ores using the Fortune pickaxe.
Observed Results:

As tutacat mentioned this project is for the Bedrock Dedicated Server software, not the Minecraft Bedrock game, please check you're in the right project before logging a bug report as it also limits your searches when looking for existing reports.
As we're only able to track one issue per report I've linked to the existing report for your first issue. I did a quick test and unbreaking seems to be working but if you believe it to be an issue please head to the MCPE project, search for an existing report and if one doesn't exist raise a new one with how you came to your conclusion (please don't raise one if it just feels like it doesn't last long enough).

While I was looking at MCPE-67169, I used the /enchant command on my pickaxe but it did not enchant it even though it says it was successful. I have tried this on different tools and it does the same thing. However, giving yourself any item with /give will put the enchantments on the tools.

However, this issue is Incomplete.
Your report does not contain enough information. As such, we're unable to understand or reproduce the problem. More information including what version you are on (Release or BETA) and how you came to your conclusion that it wasn't working is crucial.
You've also raised this in the wrong project, this project is for the Bedrock Dedicated Server only. The bug tracker for MCPE (Bedrock edition) can be found at https://bugs.mojang.com/projects/MCPE/summary. However the issue of Fortune not working in the Beta is already covered under MCPE-67169, I can't see one for Sharpness so if you would like to raise a new one, make sure to detail how and why you believe it to not be working.

However, this issue is Invalid.
Please put only one bug report in each ticket. It is very difficult to keep track of bugs when they are not in their own tickets, and it is easier for you to make multiple tickets than for the mods to separate them.
In this case though those issues have already been reported. MCPE-67169 speaks to Fortune not currently working in the BETA, MCPE-59043 speaks to Turtles not behaving as your third issue if I understand correctly is caused because you had your world in 1.14. Because of this any areas that have already loaded will have loaded with the old nether generation. To find netherite/ancient debris or any of the new features you will need to venture out to places you haven't been so new world generates.

There are also reports that Fortune III on a shovel does not always drop flint from gravel, where it did in prior versions.
I am experiencing this also, happened to me last night, could’ve had way more diamonds because I have 38 ore and only got 38 diamonds with Fortune III
This has been happening to me as well i tested on all ores and I consistently only get 1.
I have the same issue on my world, android version.
I'm on Xbox One in Beta 1.16.0.55. And this bug is very annoying, after realizing when I mined all my 54 ores and only got 54 diamonds...
I can confirm this on beta 1.16.0.55 for Windows 10, shovel with fortune 3 doesn't drop flint from gravel, even though it has 100% chance of dropping it
I did some testing if it's helpful. Ores that without fortune return more than one like lapiz and redstone seem to still have increased yield when you use fortune. Ores that only return one without fortune (Diamond, Coal, Quartz, and Emerald) only return one for one for all levels of fortune (not just fortune III). Seems unrelated to tool material.
This happens to me in bedrock beta 1.16.0.55 aswell. Made a tower of 19 diamond ore moned with silk touch. And mined all 19 with a fortune 3 diamond pick. Only to get 19 diamonds in return.

On Windows 10 PC, v1.16.0.55 Beta,, when mining diamonds; a fortune 3 pickax doesn't drop any additional diamonds.

Experiencing the same on Win 10. No difference if the ore was first collected with silk touch or mined in place.
Sometime when you enchant with enchanting table fortune work but after Repairing or adding enchantment through the anvil fortune 3,2,1 not work in Android beta version 1.16.0.55
Same as Pedro, much less then 100% flint drop from gravel, makes trading flints with villagers impossible

way too frustrating I lost around 27 diamond blocks......
Its not working on any picks i.e wood stone iron ect. Any word on this being patched?

Hard to believe that this bug has been ignored for two updates.
Reese: Not that hard to believe. I haven't been able to play for a week, as the last beta broke Minecraft so bad the game wouldn't start on my Windows 10 or Android devices. If they prioritized fixing that over fixing gold smithing or fortune working, then I applaud them. If the beta is a problem, you can always quit the beta and go back to a release version where fortune works.
It has now been nearly a month and two updates! Whats going on with this issue? All the beta devs are so silent about it. Is it harder to fix then were assuming? This is a core part of survival minecraft! I feel as if this is being put to the wayside. Dissapointing.

Everyone complaining that this isn't fixed yet remember that this is a BETA program, so there are going to be bugs. The point of a beta isn't so that you get access to new features sooner, it is so that the bugs that come with the new features can be fixed for full release. A solution I have for everybody is to SILK TOUCH all of the ores that you can use fortune on and then fortune them when this issue eventually fixed, and if you can't be that patient then there is a simple solution: LEAVE THE BETA

i don't think you know how hard it is to fix this kind of bugs you may think that this bug was on 1.16.0.55 next update it'll be fixed, no. and I don't think this will be fixed soon so if you find a diamond ore silk touch it or save it's coordinate as simple as that, you don't have to whine for it to be fixed, they're already tracking this
How hard is it to fix? Jeff you seem to have a computer science major with a back round in game devolping and coding! Please enlighten us our lord and savor jeff. Whats the approximate amount of time to fix an enchantment not working jeff? Ill just assume since the people who make mods for the game can add new enchantments in just a few hours that it isnt that hard. They just dont care.
Hey Robert - relax, adapting something that is already there is simpler than rewriting the script for another. It could be that a crucial part of the game working has become tangled up within that script... who knows - I’m not an expert but I know these things aren’t always so simple... I agree with Jeff that there are so many new comments and complaints about it, but whining will not get it seen to any quicker - we have a work around solution - silk touch - it’s not ideal but for now, we can deal with it - they clearly do care otherwise they wouldn’t bother updating the game for us - take a breath man, it’s a tricky time in the world... they’re probably understaffed at the moment too - funding might be an issue in the current climate, who knows - but I’m sure they’re doing their best. Patience is a virtue.
Robert, this is a beta. The purpose of this beta is to introduce new features for the Nether Update. That means the priority is the Nether Update related stuff. Everything will be fixed before the final release, but you are using a BETA. So chill or move off the beta. Vitriol isn't going to change anything.
Mined 14 diamond ore blocks with Fortune 3 diamond pickaxe (also had unbreaking 3 and efficiency 4). Received 11 diamonds... from 14 blocks... with a fortune 3 pick.

i am more concerned about the fortune enchantment not working for my farms at the moment. usually i use my fortune 3 axe to gather crops since it yields double to triple. i figured this out earlier when i realized none of my villagers were restocking their supplies. i had a few diamond tier farmers i'd buy golden carrots from for a food source, but they no longer restock for some reason; there was also about 3 to 4 times as many farmers with a 0 tier than there should have been. most of my villagers in the upper village had already been traded with before and upgraded, especially farmers, librarians, tool smiths, weapon smiths, and armor smiths. none of the upgraded ones are restocking and i'm not even going to try to get the stuff to trade with them if fortune isn't working. i understand that overcrowding may be an issue for their restocking and a village redesign is probably necessary... but most of my good villager trades are not even there anymore. its like the villagers died, or reset to 0 on xp. they should not have died, because they're on a lighted mountainside and have 4 golems inside, and 5 golems outside, plus the upper mountain is completely lit to stop mob spawning, and there's plenty of cats in the village to deter phantoms (which don't attack them anyways).
on top of fortune not working and villagers seemingly resetting or disappearing and not restocking, i'd like to know why my raid farm converted general mob farm pushes mobs out the kill chamber. just had to repair it from a creeper blast yesterday, and baby zombie spider riders also get out very often.

Please keep comments on the JIRA respectful and related to the bug report. I understand how frustrating it can be to lose a world to corruption but being disrespectful isn't going to help.
There are sometimes ways to recover world files that won't load and someone on the Community Support Discord (linked below) may be able to help.
As an overall tip though, always keep copies of your worlds before participating in BETA's (and even when you're not). While BETA's can seem like a cool way to get new features before release, you are opting into an unfinished version of the game that, by definition, have bugs and other issues. They're designed for testing, not using as your primary worlds.
