But it still only accepts player names in chat, the only way to use it with non-players is by using the execute command with @s since it will not work with any other target selectors.
When trying to execute as entities in water the execute if command detects water as air, meaning entities in water do nothing and when executing as entities in air all entities in water are affected as well.
To replicate simply throw an item in water and try to run an execute command that detects if the entity is in water, ie:
/execute as @e[type=item] if block ~ ~ ~ minecraft:water run say hello
Nothing will happen, but if you run the execute command detecting for air the item in the water will respond, ie:
/execute as @e[type=item] if block ~ ~ ~ minecraft:air run say hello
Naturally generated trees will randomly be cut off at chunk boundaries, leaving behind the partial tree. Though not all the trees in the chunk will be affected.

Naturally spawning Drowned will frequently cause the game to crash, and attempts to reopen affected worlds usually result in it crashing as soon as the Drowned that caused the initial crash is loaded again rendering the world unplayable.
Possibly relates to
MC-127242
This is intended as far as i know, they now sink and after a certain amount of time become Drowneds.
This can be used to get the item a zombie is holding with 100% certainty it will drop it.

jeremy ruddock please provide the seed as already mentioned by Emre Kisacikoglu. The screenshots are useless without a seed.
jeremy ruddock, that's MC-123352.

This bug also effects 17w46a.
This bug (if it is a bug) also affects snapshot 17w46a
this bug affects 17w47a
What is the seed?
This bug effects 18w03b when trying to run "/data get entity @e".
It seems they haven't changed water physics at all yet, just removed the side textures for these blocks when underwater.
Also affects 18w07b and 18w07a.
Also affects 18w10c and 18w10d.
Also affects 18w10d.
Also affects 18w10d.
This bug also affects 18w10d and 18w10c, but i have seen it happen in all biomes, it is just easier to see in roofed forests. It seems like the trees in random chunks get deleted and new ones generate, but only within the chunk, leaving partial trees in the surrounding chunks.
The animation is also missing when interacting with a door while crouching.
Also affects 18w10(a/b/c/d).
This appeared in the same snapshot that made Phantoms burn.
I believe with the new mechanic of becoming Drowneds they are no longer meant to swim.
I tested it yesterday, zombies holding any item, whether they spawn with it or not, drop the item 100% of the time when turning into a Drown.
This can be used to get the item a zombie is holding with 100% certainty it will drop it.
see
MC-127291The affected version should be 18w10d but i repeatedly got an error saying 18w10d is not a valid version, so that field needs to be corrected.
Flying in creative mode or with an elytra?
Than this sounds like a duplicate of
MC-122354Cactus cannot currently be smelted with any fuel.

MC-124923This seems like a duplicate of
MC-122354.This seems to start in the same snapshot that removed flowing_water and flowing_lava
It could have something to do with ocean monuments only spawning in deep oceans now. Although i have a world i started in 18w07a and have been playing in through the snapshots and the ocean monuments in it are still generating and spawning gaurdians.
They were spawning all throughout the monument, so basically y=63 to the ocean floor. I linked a download of my survival world so you can look for yourself, the ocean monument is at x:-2329 z:887

This seems to be a duplicate of
MC-129383.Guardians are spawning just fine in 1.13 pre-1 for me, so it seems this bug doesn't affect everyone.
That would be expected, as it happens when you remove any block underwater.
That appears to be happening where nether ravines meet lava pools/lakes. The blocks are removed but the lava remains.
Possibly relates to
MC-19690?Though as far as i know this has been happening in one way or another for a very long time.
This also affects 18w47b, and seems to relate to
MC-139694.Using F3+I on the chests gives:
/setblock 1623 50 21333 minecraft:chest[facing=north,type=single,waterlogged=true]{metadata:"chest",mirror:"NONE",ignoreEntities:1b,powered:0b,
seed:0L,author:"LadyAgnes",rotation:"NONE",posX:0,mode:"DATA",posY:1,sizeX:0,posZ:0,
integrity:1.0f,showair:0b,name:"",sizeY:0,sizeZ:0,showboundingbox:1b}
It seems as though the game is placing the chest but retaining the structure block nbt.
Since updating to 19w02a, my world, which was also started in 1.13, seems to have no mobs spawning in the overworld apart from those spawned by spawners or part of structures. This doesn't seem to effect phantom or passive mob spawning however.
Issue still present in 23w45a.
Still present in 1.20.2.
