This seems to only happen in one world(It happens repeatedly in this world). I tried dying in the end in other newly created worlds(including other superflats) and was able to go back to the over world.
I created a super flat world in version 1.2.8 and went to the end. Then I tried battling the dragon with stuff from creative, then died eventually. When I respawned, I appeared in the end again, but with the sky looking like that of the overworld. I believed the end replaced my super flat world. The dragon was still there including tthe stuff I dropped. When I exit/save and reload the world, I appear back in the end with the end sky. I made a copy of the world (so I can have a version of the world with the dragon) and killed the dragon there. When I entered the exit portal, it teleported me back to the end in the overworld. The dragon there was gone as I killed it in the end dimension. There was even an end gateway that generated in the "overworld" end. It did teleport me to the overworld version of the outer islands (further proving that the whole end replaced the super flat). I even tried going to the nether (via /setblock portal) but it still teleported me to the end. Also note that the respawn loading screen usually has a dirt background, but in this world it switches to the end stone background. It's as if I'm trapped in the end!
Cause: death in end?
Expected: to respawn in super flat overworld
Instead: respawned in the end that appears to be in over world. I think it was even considered an end "biome" because of the darkish sky.

If you build an end portal on the world spawn point, or /spawnpoint on an end portal, you'll be trapped in the end every time you die. This doesn't happen when you build an end portal around your bed, only on your primary or command-set spawn point. Dying in the end with these conditions will teleport you to an end with an overworld background. Reloading the world may reset the background to the end sky.
WARNING: If you accidentally put an end portal on the world spawn point and enter the end, you can never retrieve your world as all players who join will instantly teleport to the end. You cannot just remove the end portal.

In the End, the iron bars around the end crystals only render from a certain distance(up close). The distance in which they render are the same no matter the render distance, as I tried with 5, 6, and 8 chunks. Please fix as it is hard to tell whether or not a pillar has a cage from a distance!Device: iPhone SE

Baby dolphins are more likely to go back into water, but not adults
When the dolphin is in a pool of water, it may get stuck on land when attempting to jump out to breathe. They can't seem to easily push themselves back into water when very close to it. Also happens when they attempt to jump from one body of water to another as well, although baby dolphins are more likely to push themselves back in.

At least on mobile, the game had seemed to load in less than 30 seconds prior to version 1.16.201

This still happens in 1.2.8 - where if there's an end portal where you spawn, you respawn in the end with the sky looking like that of the overworld.
This can happen with the world spawn point too.
I noticed it also happens with beacons.
Did you place/build the end portal on your spawn point? I think this glitch relates to you respawning on the end portal and therefore going back to the end.
Relates to https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCPE-25938
It would be nice if you can access it in game though
I tested this, it no longer works for beds(can't place them in the same place), but it can be reproduced if you make an end portal on the world spawn point or /spawnpoint on an end portal.
Made new report:
MCPE-30013This is really bad for survival players, they can't access the end if they accidentally place one block.
They should add a pvp toggle option
The overworld sky thing doesn't appear to happen anymore in 1.2.10.2
It seemed to happen when I used a book and quill.
Also happens to redstone torches.

I believe some dolphins are able to jump out of water, and some just aren't able to, despite having access to air.

This may be intended as mobs have a small chance to be able to pick up any item
It's normal for your location to stay on the edge of the map upon going off of it. It would require making another map/expanding your map to see your location beyond your initial map.
This may be intentional if you or the servers have any safety settings enabled.
