Iron bars around end crystals only appear when close
In the End, the iron bars around the end crystals only render from a certain distance(up close). The distance in which they render are the same no matter the render distance, as I tried with 5, 6, and 8 chunks. Please fix as it is hard to tell whether or not a pillar has a cage from a distance!

Many partially transparent blocks stop rendering at about 1/2 of render distance on land in the overworld. In particular, this affects blocks that apply transparency to portions of the block’s collision box. It seems that beyond the threshold distance the entire texture of the block gets replaced by transparency.
Note: blocks that overlay a texture based on tile entity data, such as beds, chests, and pistons, behave differently. Tile entities seem to follow the entity render distance of 70 regardless of the render distance selected in settings. That behavior is not the subject of this report.
Steps to reproduce
- On land in the overworld, place blocks that have partially transparent textures, such as flowers, iron bars, ladders, etc. (Do not use blocks with tile entity textures like beds and chests—see note above.)
- Move away from the blocks.
Expected result
All blocks render up to render distance.
Observed result
The partially transparent blocks disappear at around 1/2 of render distance.

Behavior still occurs. I have updated the report to clarify.
The reported behavior creates a special problem with iron bars in the end, which has been tracked separately at MCPE-30028.
For some reason the behavior applies to powder snow too, even though powder snow is not partially transparent. (MCPE-127565)
The same blocks that stop rendering at 1/2 of render distance on land stop rendering underwater when their chunk is 32 blocks from the player. (MCPE-34794)
Confirmed in Windows 10 1.2.8.
The iron bars do not have to be around an end crystal to exhibit this issue. In fact, they don't even have to be in the End; this happens in the Overworld as well.
This issue also applies to ladders. I also tested fences, cobblestone walls, and slabs, but none of these were affected.
However, I found that render distance does affect the distance at which the iron bars or ladders disappear, though not one-for-one. With my render distance set to 16 chunks, they disappeared when I was 8 chunks away. With it set to 32 chunks, they disappeared when I was 10 chunks away.
I noticed it also happens with beacons.

Confirmed in 1.16.40/1.16.100.56.
They seems to disappear for me when i'm 60 blocks away with a render distance of 8 chunks.
They also seem to disappear for me when i'm 256 blocks away with a render distance of 40 chunks.
This applies to the end crystals and the fire animation.
But also with other items in the overworld/nether too (grass, tallgrass, kelp, seagrass, etc.)
For a full list of blocks that show the same behavior described here for iron bars, see MCPE-124841.
I confirmed that report separately because it seemed to me that this report raises a special issue with the impact of iron bars in the ender dragon arena, which might warrant a special fix. For example, iron bars could be given the same behavior as leaves and kelp, which replace the transparent layer with a solid color instead of disappearing.
