Entities don't clear lists (like "ActiveEffects") before reloading from NBT.
If you remove the ActiveEffects tag and tell the entity to read from nbt again, the effects on the entity won't change.
This may have something to do with the infinite potion effects bug I'm about to post and could easily be fixed by clearing lists the entity loads before it reads them.

Can't remove partially filled exp bars from a player. Even if they're below level 1 and you try to subtract 1 level from them.
Originally posted as https://mojang.atlassian.net/browse/MC-4634 but fixed, however it broke again in the newest snapshot.

My bad, please close... Sorry Tails and Kumasasa for wasting your time trying to reproduce this... I used the wrong snapshot.
Java Version 7 Update 13 (64-bit)
LWJGL 2.8.5
Why isn't it set to "won't fix" then?
Anyways, thanks for the fix!

The command block shouldn't be obtainable by every player in creative mode because they could use it to teleport players around and so on.
You can get it by typing /give <Name> command_block
Commands can only be set by opped AND creative players.
Yes, a gamerule would definitely be awesome.
Another idea would be to add an NBT tag to the item frames to specify whether or not they are unbreakable. Unbreakable frames can only be destroyed by breaking the block behind them (so they can't be broken in adventure mode)
Probably a bit harder for mapmakers but much easier to code (I think)
Edit: Oops, didn't mean to comment your post, sorry about that.
Sorry about that, didn't find the other report.
Thanks for fixing; does this also fix the
/xp -1 Player
command? Currently it says that you can't give negative xp, however it works for xp levels
/xp -1L Player
DEFINITELY needs to be fixed, this is really annoying because now all server owners and map makers for multiplayer servers need to hide glowstone and so on behind glass so adventure mode users can't break it.
EDIT: Just realised that glass is also breakable...
Can confirm this.
Here's my force-crash report.
Will hopefully be fixed soon!
(Crash report attached, see above.)
The pressure plate teleport idea doesn't work for me because there's also a bug causing redstone to stay activated if you teleport too far so the chunks will unload
Vote for it here: https://mojang.atlassian.net/browse/MC-711
This needs to be fixed, hopefully soon as it breaks all my maps
Love you dinnerbone, thanks so much!
Would be damn hard to fix and probably slow the world generation down to 10 min per chunk
I don't think this bug should be fixed, as it looks kinda cool.
Confirmed.
It's the same with Minecarts, Pigs and anything you can ride.
(I'm pretty sure it works for Spider Jockeys as well, but I didn't test it.)
Maybe someone should change the title?
EDIT: Just realized that it's a duplicate. Sorry. Ignore this comment.
Confirmed. Try waiting 10 seconds, refreshing and then joining (don't double click, use the join button)
It's kind of weird and I don't know the reason for this, but waiting and using the button always fixed it for me.
Can confirm what [Mod] fuj1n said.
I think in version 1.5 the language files automatically update when updating your jar, so I guess it's fixed?
(Depending on what language file you were using it's also possible that something just wasn't translated yet.)
@bljat I don't think it's a duplicate.
However, that's not a bug. It's a problem with lag. So there's nothing MOJANG can do about it.
It's NOT a duplicate!
MC-888says that the difficulty doesn't change the default difficulty, however, changing the default difficulty in the menu still does NOT prevent the map difficulty from resetting because the player can just change it back in the menu or enter another map with a different difficulty to reset it.Please change
MC-888or re-open this :/Thanks
If this works as intended, then it's just stupid because normally after reloading the map everything should be exactly like it was before you left it. Including difficulty.
Confirmed and voted.
DAMMIT
This can't be intended!
Broke again in the newest snapshot, cloning issue.
Confirmed for 14w02c.
Needs to be fixed asap.
Confirmed for 14w03b using "MC-711 Redstone Bug Test.zip"

Some of the circuits will stop working.
EDIT: Not sure how/if I'm able to update the affected versions...
Still an issue in 14w03b.
Still an issue in 14w03b.
Can be fixed by setting Invulnerable: 1
Possibly intended, still really annoying though.
Confirmed for 14w03b.

EDIT: Looks like a LWJGL issue.
Confirmed for 14w03b, may be intended.

I don't think that's intended.
Commands that don't affect singleplayer usually aren't usable either.
Also affects 14w02c and 14w03a
Fixed in 14w02b.
Could you share the coordinates of the dungeons with us, please?
I'm pretty sure this is intended, actually.
Could you please attach an affected world?

After the TNT exploded, the arrow is stuck in mid-air until you pick it up, I however can't see a second arrow.
That's embarrassing. Sorry.
Unable to reproduce on 14w03b. In which version did you generate the world? Was your client modded?
Please set up a new server with the same server.properties in a different directory and post whether it works or not.

Did you try it on Single- or Multiplayer?
