Surface dungeons generating without spawner, chests, and most of floor
Dungeons generating on the surface (usually desert) do not have spawner, chests, or most of flooring. The only mossy cobble/regular cobble of floor that generates is where spawner and chests should have generated or under the cobble walls. I have seen this 6 or 7 times now across 4 new worlds in single player since 14w02c. Here are two example pic sets from my latest world seed -7829811913816383786 showing before and after clearing sand.

Found another, for argument's sake. Seed is -3271451743016972418, coords are -543, 64, -175. This is the second one I found in two different seeds, both generated in the 14w04b patch. I attached a screenshot with the coords and seed to this thread.

This ticket has been marked as a duplicate of MC-45303, in favor of the more general or better information provided.
Resolved as duplicate of MC-45303 because world generation code changed in 1.7, thus this ticket is obsolete.

Unable to reproduce on 14w03b. In which version did you generate the world? Was your client modded?
Interesting, thanks for testing. I recreated the world in creative to see if that affected anything. I still get the same issue of no spawner, chests, etc however since I was able to fly I found that the chest items were scattered across the ground as seen in screencap. I never play creative so evidently each time this has happened to me the items have despawned prior to my arrival.
EDIT: I created this world originally today in the current snapshot (14w03b) with no mods. Each time I have seen this prior has been in the current snapshot at that time(14w02a,b,c or 14w03a,b) with no mods in survival.
Also happened to me in 14w04b, but my dungeon had no mossy cobble in place of the chests, mossy cobble was only in place of the spawner and under the walls.

For what it's worth, this one is in a cave and not immediately visible from the outside.
This is exactly what I've been seeing. there's no mossy cobblestone on the walls and the spawner is replaced with mossy cobblestone.

This time there is a chest but no spawner.
The other two desert dungeons i found in this world yesterday,had no spawner,no chests,but the loot which was suposed to be in the chests,was on the ground.
I have the same bug on my 14w08a world
