MC-1386Confirmed for 16w44a. I am really hoping this is finally fixed for 1.11 - Forge fixed it by default so its definitely repairable client-side.

Confirmed. Although I do know this is because half slabs on the bottom do not act like regular blocks when placing torches, item frames, etc. so this may be intentional.
This is intentional, as vines are a plant and can be chopped down, you just only get the item when you use shears.
It is all peripheral vision on the sides, so lighting looks less bright/vivid.
You aren't supposed to be able to break/place any block on Adventure Mode

The application support folders location was not moved, but the Library folder is actually now hidden.

type/copy that command into terminal, then got to your bin folder, delete it, and boot up Minecraft.
The Spider takes damage due to suffocation as spiders take up a 2 block by 2 block area,which is not provided (based on the block you are spawning the spider on). No mobs get pushed out of blocks, they simply take suffocation damage, just as if sand or gravel covered them up.
Is it possible that your game was missing the sound files??? Delete the bin folder and then reopen Minecraft and try again.
Yes, this is expected behavior as you are trying to eat the cake but you hunger is full. Just sneak or look at something else to block.
It appears that this is intentional to me. The enchantment overrides the potion effect.
Definitely intended. Pigs do not have swords, the lightning does not have a sword. It would more likely be a bug if they DID obtain a sword after being struck by lightning.
Confirmed. It may seem like nothing to most of use, but a bug is a bug after all.
