I mined a Bell from a nearby Plains Village, and when I went back to my base to place it down for my own project, I realized I couldn’t place it. No matter where I put it, the bell will briefly pop up on the block and instantly disappear, and I would still have the Bell item in my inventory.
I would try and drop the Bell as an item, it would play the sound as if I was dropping an item yet it still remains in my inventory.
I tried moving the Bell to a Chest, a Furnace, basically anything that could store the Bell. The item still remains in my inventory. Even if I try to move it to another inventory slot, it won’t move.
EDIT: After testing this in other worlds, I’ve noticed this is only an issue on my survival world, and i would guess other players don’t have this problem either, considering a lot of players use the Bells so this would’ve been noticed by now. Should I change this to private?
Chests, both small and large, appear invisible. They are still a solid block, you can still place items in them, the item in your inventory is still visible, etc. When you hold the item in your hand however, it is also invisible.
EDIT: This appears to only affect my survival world. Other worlds show Chests just fine. Should I change this to Private?
Though I understand Zombies can break down normal doors, they should
NOTbreak down Iron Doors. I’m trying to cure Zombie Villagers and I keep them in a cell, and before this beta theyNEVERbroke down Iron Doors. Now, they break it down, and the Iron Door item doesn’t even drop.Though I understand Zombies can break down normal doors, they should not break down Iron Doors. Matthew Tanner Lawley, I 100% agree. These would be a great addition, mainly to these who are building aquaria. If they don't want them spawn naturally, I would like to just get an other way how to get them in survival. (Like loot chests, villagers and wandering traders)
If they are unused, they should either be removed or they should be at some way obtainable without commands.
So, please reconsider this as a bug and get this fixed at some point (Doesn't have to be at 1.16)
Matthew Tanner Lawley: This is a warning, please refrain from making such statements on the bug tracker in the future.
Then they should fix it.
Can you guys please fix this? It’s breaking my world.
Cmon guys, it can’t be hard. Just add the coral but greyed out instead. It’s not that difficult.
No, I had just placed it down and only looked at the door breaking, I did nothing. I might also add this happened on hard mode, but like I said, Zombies of any type should only break Wooden Doors, not Iron Doors. The item form also doesn’t drop when they break it.
Why is this set as “Works as Intended”?
Really confused as to why this is “intentional”. It makes sense that Baby Zombie Pigmen don’t grow up as they are Zombies and thus, undead. But Piglins are not undead, Piglins are living creatures. What about them inhibits them from growing up, and how are adult Piglins a thing if Baby Piglins never grow up?
Thankfully Henrik, this was fixed.
This is not a feature request Adrian, this is inconsistent.
Can these please be added? If your so worried about they eyes just color them gray. And so what if we can’t see the eyes? That’s realistic, many fish have their eyes blend in to their body color.
Is anyone going to address this?
Adrian, why is this intended? The whole point of temples is that they are old and decayed. WHY would their stairs not have moss in it while the rest of the structure is covered in it? Do you realize how ugly and weird it makes it look? Cmon man.
That’s great guys, really. Great.
Would be nice
Why is Mojang so concerned on animal cruelty? Get over it, it’s a game
Why is this Works as Intended?
Bryan and Chris why y’all defending this bug?
Searge, how in any way was it a security issue? You can at least give us the reason how in any way this was a “security issue”. You owe us that for removing this great feature.
WHY is this WAI? I’m so confused by this really stupid decision. Piglins are living creatures, so why don’t baby Piglins grow up?
Rasmus, how are there baby Piglins if they don’t breed?
Hey Chris, just wanted to let you know you’re wrong. The Fire burning us is blue, it makes sense that the fire that is on us from said blue fire should be blue, not orange. This is pretty common sense stuff guys, why are you making this complicated?
Excuse me but why is this intended?
