Zombies are targeting Villagers through multiple blocks, haven't encountered this on Bedrock prior to the 1.10 update.
Zombies are are now targeting villagers from inside cave systems with no prior line of sight, Drowned are lining up at shores waiting for nightfall, and desert villages become deserted villages once a single Husk smells the wheat & potatoes growing from 30 blocks away.
I understand if they're 'seen' by the zombies and are pursued, but this is unfortunately not the case.
Thank you for your time.

The attachments include pictures of the Drowned beach siege (Coastal Village seed) & a picture of three zombies inside a cave, located below my player-made village, tracking the Villagers through multiple solid blocks at a time (random seed/EX. Gameplay Enabled).
Any information on if this is a change to the mechanics would be appreciated, thank you

Two weeks later and still no response or acknowledgement of this game-breaking bug lol, what a joke.
Tyler Erickson: On multiple occasions, you've been disrespectful of the helpers and moderators here, which is not only rude but prohibited by Mojang. We are volunteers trying to provide a service to the community, and we don't deserve people like you making our efforts harder. The next time you are ungracious on the bug tracker, you will be banned.

Forgot to add that the first picture was taken in the world off of the Realm and the second picture was taken while playing on the Realm.
Taken from one block up to show the difference.
Can also confirm (Bedrock 1.10). They're opening/closing like normal during the day but are not closing doors behind them at night.
Bedrock 1.10 is having this issue with zombies. Wiki says zombies can target Villagers even through walls but have never encountered this until 1.10. Villages generated near water have Drowned sieges as soon as it is dark, with the Drowned lining up at the edge of the water during the day time.
Along with Villagers now not closing doors behind them, it's near impossible to not lose Villagers every single night. I have to, quite literally, fence them in which is no fun for a lively village.
Also curious about when the patch will come. Haven't been able to play Minecraft, I'm playing Village Protector and it's not much fun.
Meanwhile on Bedrock, Drowned & Zombies are now targeting villagers through 10-20 block thick "walls" and are extremely aggressive.
Haven't had the "targeting through solid walls" with mobs on Bedrock Edition until 1.10.
I tried posting about this but not a single response. The zombie on Bedrock have been targeting villagers through multiple solid blocks since 1.10.
Coastal Village is only chaotic BECAUSE of this. I've played Coastal Village for a long time, never had issues until 1.10. This is a problem with how Zombies and their variants are targeting the villagers, along with villagers not closing doors at night, regardless if they have a bed to go to or not (also as of 1.10/EX. Gameplay).
Can confirm the passive Drowned in Bedrock 1.10. It seems that converted Drowned (Zombies --> Drowned) are passive and not attacking the player, while naturally spawned Drowned (no Zombie conversion to Drowned) are acting normal/hostile.
Can confirm for Bedrock 1.10, 1.11, and 1.12, lol. Have been dealing with this for months. In certain cases causes extra villagers to be 'born' and claim the beds, forcing my already existing villager to become bed-less.
This is still an issue over 2 months later why can't I get a response????
I already did that but didn't receive a response. Posted it over 2 months ago. Posting a duplicate actually got a response so I don't see any point in replying in the first post.
Is happening on Bedrock Edition 1.12. Villagers do not have biome specific skins when breeding.
Never mind. Apparently my mountain village at Y=90 is not 'considered' to be the region for the Tiaga/Mountain skins. My apologies.
Still happening in 1.12. Door will be 5 blocks to the side of where the villagers are standing, trying to go through the wall instead of pathing inside.
AND also spawning in a 1x3 space MADE ONLY OF TRAP DOORS!! This is absolute nonsense. Bedrock edition is a complete joke.
Okay I see that, but came here to add that cats are now spawning inside glass blocks. Does this happen if there is a full block below the glass block, giving the appearance of spawning inside glass?
Or what about pillagers & illagers spawning on a block that has fence posts on it? Or them spawning on half slabs? There's not a single block or item in the game that currently blocks mob spawning and that is a massive issue.
Confirmed mobs spawning on TOP of glass blocks. There is no preventable mob spawning.
I'll put it at a 0% chance this issue is fixed and will be passed off as "an intended game feature".
Can confirm on Bedrock Edition, but most mobs suffer from this. The mob thinks the button is a block it can access so it will continue to 'jump on' the button.
As soon as I killed all cats with a command a golem instantly spawned.
Wow how extremely helpful Violine. Amazing work you're doing.
They wrote a very detailed bug report but you just go 'iTs NoT fOr 1.14'. Stellar work.
Still an issue in 1.12 bedrock edition.
Happened again twice already today.
So happy I pay for this service.
Happened again just now.
Happened twice again already this morning. I’m going to keep posting every time it happens until I get a response.
It’s happened twice again tonight. One of the times we had a full realm (doesn’t happen too often) and when it rolled back, it went down to only 2 of us as soon as people realized what happened. Second time was just myself online so at least it was 5+ players losing progress and interest in the realm.
I can not edit my comment I meant to say ‘...at least it wasn’t 5+...”
Happened just right now. Yet again. And still no response from anyone.
Still happening.
Happened again just now. Nice two week fix i guess.
So my four crashes that occurred in the last 1-2 hours is being logged? lol.
I’m running a brand new ONE X and this is the only game that crashes at a way too frequent rate.
Also happening to me since hotfix came out. Brand new xbox one x, everything else runs fine except freakin’ minecraft lol. Things were fine before the hotfix.
Still happening. The Bedrock team is absolute garbage.
Still happening lol. Bedrock mods, have you tried actually testing stuff before releasing it? Are your beta testers not doing their job? How does a game like Minecraft not run without crashing? Any other game would be thrown to the wolves if they had the amount of bugs this game has.
And of course it is still happening with no comment or acknowledgement of the issue from them.
Crashed 3 times already today. couldn’t even walk out of my base before it happens. This only happens with the default texture pack. When is someone going to acknowledge this issue? Too busy trying to add dance emotes??
Still happening a month and a half later. Why is this not being acknowledged??? I’ve crashed twice in 5 minutes????
ANOTHER crash!! This would be unacceptable on Java Edition. Too busy developing dance emotes to fix issues with the game!
Golems haven’t had the “patrol” behavior since 1.8 (when night cycle begins, golems patrol close to the buildings at a slow pace rather than walk around randomly), Vindicators inside Woodland Mansions have been ‘Neutral’ to the player since Village & Pillage was released, villagers constantly losing beds leading to new villagers being born and having an overpopulated villages/homeless villagers, zombies breaking down IRON DOORS since 1.12...and none of this is even a thought in anyone’s mind.
Oh my goodness I am so sorry please don't ban me from a bug tracking site. I haven't posted here about any bugs I run into for a while now. I don't find this helpful. This is only proving that point to myself by the three of you commenting on this non-issue/resolved issue that I originally posted about over a year ago.
Same issues on xbox. Game has been unplayable since 1.16.100. Invisible mobs killing you is literally game breaking and I have no idea how it’s been this long without a hot fix. This would never happen with a release on Java.
