Matthew Slattery - Just to reiterate, the issue is purely related to downloaded Realm worlds, which currently can't be opened in single player due to the minor version difference.
Players on both 1.8.0 and 1.8.1 can still join and play on Realms together, and you can still download and upload world saves.
Has anyone from support read this issue? This is preventing me from switching worlds on my realm.
After the 1.5.0 update I was able to make a current save file.
MCPE-35184) I was finally able to when 1.5 came out. I made the save and changed the resource pack to mandatory. I then reloaded the world as my realm. A few days later when I got on my realm everything on my player was gone including everything in my enderchest. I only had a blank map. I checked the save copy and I lost everything there as well. Will this be resolved soon. Waiting for the fix so I can increase my realm to a 10 player.
Thanks, I realized that earlier today. I started a new 10 player realm and imported the save file that I wasn't able to open. All set!!
I have had the same problem with my Xbox and Windows 10 version, I receive the import failed message. However I have been able to download the realm on my Kindle Fire. I have the Chroma Hills texture pack (the BEST) activated on both my Xbox and Windows 10, but the Kindle cannot handle the texture pack. Just wondering if others are using the same texture pack, I noticed that the original poster has the Chroma Hills in their attached picture.
I removed the texture packs from the downloaded copy on my Kindle and uploaded it as my realm. When I get home later I will try downloading a copy on my Xbox and let you know if that works.
I agree on BOTH
After removing the texture pack from my realm, I was finally able to download a save copy of the realm world.
