Recipe book not visible in inventory
i dont know what is wrong but the crafting recipe thing wont show up i watched a youtube video and i clicked whare it showed for him and it still worked but it douse not show the book
and the umm the voice thing yae that douse not work pls fix these bugs

Are you using a resource pack? (see MC-115085)
Am attempting to upload screen shots of my inventory and table, to show where the buttons may be. You've possibly got the same issue I do: There seems to be no image of the button, but the clickable area is there. In my image, the spots are highlighted in blue.
"File "temp1.png" was not uploaded
JIRA could not attach the file as there was a missing token. Please try attaching the file again."

Also, "not saying," you should separate your requests into their own issues. The screen reader is a different problem from the recipe book and will need to be addressed separately by staff. It doesn't seem to be working for me either, but I'm playing single and don't really want to use the feature.
Nope, same upload error in Firefox and Chrome. Not sure where I'm supposed to get tokens, but I feel like I'm at an arcade with a bunch of pennies.
EDIT: I has tokens now, I guess. My upload worked, so I removed my offsite link.
Possibly (likely) related to issue MC-115046 but not quite the same described behavior.
Are you using any resource packs?
Ahh...I am, indeed. I had assumed that this was a completely new graphic that would revert to default, if missing. It must even be my own resource pack, for me, since partial packs aren't affecting this graphic. Are you able to lead me toward the files that might cause this? I primarily edited blocks and entities...
...okay, now I remember that I changed the button color. It's in that GUI image file, isn't it? The missing icon is being rendered fully transparent.

MC-114930 covers this. Vote, watch and contribute if you've got information that isn't there. As I said before, separate issues need to be tracked separately, or the mods and devs can't help us properly solve them.
