Take out your spyglass and use it, the score never increases.

Confirmed. I was coming on to report this very bug when I found it has already been reported
I attached a screenshot; the "spy" score is minecraft.used:minecraft.spyglass, and you can see I'm clearly using the spyglass, but the score remains at 0.
