MC-2182Ender Pearl does not work when thrown through nether portal
when ender pearl is thrown through a nether portal you can see it fly through and beyond, but will not work, nor will they appear as a drop in the nether/overworld.

this because the actual portals are blocks so the ender pearl can hit them
the oppisite is that flowers have a hit box but ender pearls cant hit them,so portals are technacly to the game blocks unlike flowers though
I have experienced this as well in 1.4.3 prerelease.
