Markers, interaction, and display entities still prevent weighted pressure plates from deactivating.
This was fixed in 1.20-pre3 (see MC-260653), however the fix did not apply to weighted pressure plates specifically, and only fixed it for wooden pressure plates (stone pressure plates were not affected at all).
Steps to Reproduce
- Place down a weighted pressure plate and stand on top of it.
- Summon a marker ever so slightly above your position by using the command provided below.
/summon minecraft:marker ~ ~0.05 ~
- Stand off the pressure plate, wait a couple of seconds, and observe its "powered" state.
- Take note as to whether or not markers, interaction, and display entities can prevent pressure plates from deactivating.
Observed Behavior
The pressure plate remains pressed.
Expected Behavior
The pressure plate should deactivate.
peashooter the issue here is not that the stone pressure plate is not activated; it is that some of the pressure plates get activated, but only once a player steps on it, and then they stay activated. This is similar to MC-260653 which was a valid bug.
