NBSP is a valid invisible character that can be used to rename items to have blank names
Use NBSP to rename an item in an anvil. This lets you get an item with a blank name.
This is different to using spaces as the game doesn't let you rename the item with just spaces.

What do floating striders have to do with this, NguyenFranky? Issues with the NBSP character have been fixed before, and are considered valid. Such as; MC-262181, MC-262766 (Fixed), and MC-263360.

I was unable to reproduce this issue.
Make sure you're inserting a non-breaking space, not a normal space.
I checked a lot of time a I'm 100% sure that the character is non-breaking space. Again, I was unable to reproduce this issue.
Could reproduce, if on Windows use: Alt+0160 or Alt+255. Versions before 23w17a would just show the "NBSP" character (as seen in the attached screenshot).
