The Bug:
Eating isn't canceled when feeding untamed wolves raw food.
When feeding untamed wolves raw food, the player begins eating the food in addition to feeding it to the wolf.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Summon a wolf and obtain some raw beef.
- Feed the wolf the raw beef and watch closely as you do this.
Observed Behavior:
Eating isn't canceled when feeding untamed wolves raw food.
Expected Behavior:
Eating would be canceled when feeding untamed wolves raw food.

Relates to MC-267413 and MC-267957. This behavior may be deliberate given the related reports mentioned. A potential solution could involve restricting the prevention of eating golden apples only when the zombie villager is currently undergoing the curing process. The weakness effect on the zombie villager is removed upon curing. This solution would be logical only if the issue addressed in MC-166984 is resolved.
Confirmed.
This isn't limited to raw food; it also affects cooked food.
Related to MC-93018, being able to feed wild wolves is itself likely a bug.
