Eating particles for items that are tinted, such as short/tall grass, non-cherry leaves, vines, ferns and large ferns, and lily pads, are gray and not tinted.
To reproduce
- Execute the following command:
/give @p lily_pad[consumable={}] 1 - Eat the lily pad.
Observed result
The lily pad eating particles are gray.
Expected result
The lily pad eating particles should be tinted.

This also affects leather armour, dyed wolf armour, potions, tipped arrows, coloured firework stars, grass blocks, and all types of tinted foliage. This would in theory also affect spawn eggs but, due to
MC-269723, that cannot be observed. This also does not affect azalea leaves which the current description seems to suggest.
