MC-272784Endermen are randomly triggered
I think it's a bug because when I'm in the end, they just start to attack me although I haven't triggered them. I knew this bug existed since April so maybe it's older ?
Reproduction steps :
1) Go to the end without interacting with any endermen
2) For some reason, they will teleports at you and start attacking
(Sometimes you can hear the taking damages before teleporting and attacking you maybe that's the cause?)
I don't know if it helps but I turned on the "Bundle" and "Villager Trade rebalance" data packs + I first encountered this "bug" on my server. I recorded the footage on my solo world BUT the LAN option was active.
Note: In the video, I just went in the end and looked up and then the enderman attacked me (I haven't done anything to him).

I assume you never stared at them beforehand?
Nope I just went in the End and they just started to attack me
Can you please add clear reproduction steps? As of now, I can only assume you looked at the enderman or attacked it prior to this.
Make sure you don't have any data packs enabled as they can cause this issue.
I cannot reproduce this issue.
I'm not able to reproduce this either. You probably just looked at an enderman without realizing, that can happen quite easily if you're not super careful (especially considering that they easily blend in in the end).
Ok, so I don't know what happened then, because I went to the End and then an Endermen started attacking me after I left the obsidian platform. I will try to record this if I can.
