on Macs the tab key is not doing anything(ex. player list, or auto-finish commands) if the player list key is bound to another key the player list works but the command auto-finish is still unreachable

Interestingly the release note for MC 1.5 reports that the TAB key now works in a lot of other different places (MC-334).
Perhaps the same medicine is needed for the login?
Issue reproduced on Mac OS X 10.8.2 using todays latest version of java (jre-7u17-macosx-x64).
PS.: Using 'Magic Launcher 1.0.0' you are able to TAB from the login-name to the pswd field
PPS.: I am unable to change "Affects Version/s:" to also include version 1.5 - I guess higher privileges are needed in order to do so 
Nasty one to find, should work from the next release
Actually option-tab works in the previous versions if you're wondering. Nice of Mojang to fix this!
It always worked in fullscreen by the way.
