Generated or placed doors are half or complete invisible after relog
Doors are invisible, and won't let you pass through all the way, but let you try getting through. It sets you back all the time, though, and you can't break it unless you take out the block underneath. You can mine every block on the other side of it.

Confirmed. Top halves of doors in villages are invisible for me.
I had an issue similar to yours. This may relate to the optimizations to the source code. It may be the blocks that spawn with one a top another maybe reduced in assumption that it will be compressing code. This reduces resource usage, and memory consumption mainly to physical static memory(not random access). No need to worry dev team, you can do this, and do it right! I believe in you guys!
sent the picture, only doors on -X side of a block with hinges to right will stay
More images of this monstrosity, and if you think you can't pass though doors, you can pass though doors as well!
Placed 30 Doors next to each other, and have found that if you remove the sand beneath one of them all bugged doors next to it will also drop.
Also, if you chop down a bugged, with a axe door it gets destroyed.
In SMP with my friend only the person who placed the oak or iron door down could see or interact with the door. the other person simply glitched backward if they tried to walk into the doorway. The person who couldn't see the door could also break and place blocks through it. Interestingly enough when the original user opens the door the second person could only sometimes walk through.
I just don't get it. I looked up "bottom half of doors" and related searches and found nothing. I post mine and it's a dupe. #brokensearches
You made your search too spesific, make it wider in range, instead of "bottom half of doors" search "door half"
