MCD-1314The Brazilian Portuguese language does not work on Nintendo Switch!
The Brazilian Portuguese language does not work on Nintendo Switch. Probably because on the console there is no Brazilian Portuguese language option, only Portuguese from Portugal.
I believe that the best option would be to launch a language pack for Brazilian Portuguese in the Nintendo store, just as it was done in Overwatch. Or put the option for language selection in the game menu.

I would like to update this problem that Nintendo has also come to Brazil now and that it recently updated the console with Brazilian content.
Before December 7, 2020, there was neither the Brazilian e-shop nor the possibility to change the language of the console to Brazilian Portuguese, as there was only the Portuguese e-shop and the language of the European Portuguese console, which I assume there is no translation of the Minecraft Dungeons on the Nintendo Switch into Brazilian Portuguese for this reason.
After this date, the Brazilian e-shop was added along with the option of the American Portuguese language (Brazilian Portuguese).
I think the idea above the author of this problem is valid, in putting the option of changing the language within the game, instead of relying only on the current language of the console, since this is not user friendly.

Yes, it still continues showing Portuguese from Portugal and narration in English instead of showing in Brazilian Portuguese as it is shown in the computer version.
There is still no possibility to change the language within the game.
Does the language not change if the following settings in the console are used?

In the Nintendo Switch system settings, we only have these options:
If I select the "The Americas" region and the "Portuguese" language, the Nintendo Switch language will be changed to "Portuguese of the Americas (Brazil)".
And if I select the "Europe" region and the "Portuguese" language, the Nintendo Switch language will be changed to "European Portuguese (Portugal)".
Since Minecraft Dungeons is configured to use the system language, there may be a problem with selecting the correct language.
It would be more interesting to have the possibility of changing the language within the game, regardless of the language used in the Nintendo Switch system.
Note: Attached are the region and language settings of my Nintendo Switch to exemplify the situation and I changed the language of my Nintendo Switch momentarily to English to send the photos and you will be able to understand the content, but my default configuration is the As Americas region and the Portuguese language.
Is there any solution to this problem? I'm playing the game in PT-PT and I'm not able to change to PT-BR

What a shame! The game have the same price in all platforms, and all of them have PT-BR dubs and subs, except for the Nintendo Switch.
And now the Nitendo Switch have official support for Brazillian Portuguese, what makes a lot more easy to solve this problem.
I completely agree with you @Alberto Nienow Eberhardt.
I really can't believe how this issue could be ended with just a status of "Won't Fix" and no more explanation.
It's a shame.
