I need help with the change username it says it's changed but it hasn't on Minecraft, I also would like to know how to download a previous minecraft version like 1.13.3
Environment
Im on 1.14.4. So I have recently changed my username from the old one HarvesterHoe(sorry about the username my friend hacked me ;-; ), so anyways from HarvesterHoe I made is __Sunflowerr, I logged back on to Java to see it hasn't worked, I waited it off a bit, typed in my chat and it was still HarvesterHoe, please help me with it is not working for for my username change! Plus the servers I wish to play on will probably not allow such a name and now im stuck with it!!!
I also need help on how to download a previous Minecraft version such as 1.13.3, as I am stuck there.

Let's make this the main ticket about this. The issue probably lays in the way how the login system works. Session IDs. It's a key to contact the API and verify you're the owner of the account. The probably is that they don't refresh when you re-launch the launcher, only when relogging back into the account. So, that key is only able to pull out old information and not the new information (including the changed name). Probably the best way to fix this is to let the launcher check each time it launches with the public information on names, and if it doesn't match, refresh the session ID. I might be wrong on this, but that's at least how I think it should work.
Other tickets with the same issue are:
On the Minecraft Launcher, go to add account and put in your current account and the name will update itself, worked for me.
Did the user name still not update or is it fixed now?
