Do you use a mojang account? See
MC-10005also. In addition, please do not mark unreleased versions as affected. You do not have access to this yet.Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
Please let us know if this is still an issue, add the full log of the console of the new launcher as well when you do
I have same problem with launcher 1.0.5/mc 1.6.1 release (1.6.1 server).
server log:
MC client 1.6.1 says:
Connection Lost
Failed to login: Bad login
Back to title screen
why is launcher saying - "Play offline" at the bottom right corner? Im online for sure
that seems to be the root of the problem isnt it?
ok - I solved it.
I pressed Log out in the launcher. then logged back in again and all works now.
its a bug in the launcher (or it's libraries) 200%.
and I did restart launcher+mc thousands of times for sure
just to confirm - yep I do have two minecraft accounts and switched between them weeks ago
Confirmed in new launcher. Very annoying because you click play, not play offline, and you will get the bad login message.
