I have the same problem.
If its the issue when loading with the launcher if you go into task manager and scroll down you can see two applications running as Minecraft and Minecraft Launcher (I believe but it'll say Minecraft) just end those two tasks and it'll fix start loading right away. Though it is annoying to do so.

crashing also, lags my laptop crazy bad. Brand New Computer so thats not the issue, also i have 12 GB of ram, so thats not the issue. You all need to fix the launcher.

Hey I am the person that created the issue that is linked to this one... it says it's a dupe but I get exit code 0... idk if that makes a difference but mine isn't resolved even tho the mods said it is... like you guys didn't help me at all

I am using the CurseForge app to play with mods, and everyday after I launched the game it crashes after some time. After that I can't launch modded Minecraft(I can launch vanilla) for the rest of the day. I tried restarting my laptop (windows 10) and still no success.
Hello, I experienced the same problem and reported it, only to get my version marked as a duplicate. However, the fix applied to this one (the second oldest comment) does not work for me. All it does is close the launcher.

Hello Zgajak (or if another mod sees this first, this is directed at you),
I tried to answer the questions you (Zgajak) asked, however when I tried to follow the second one, I found that minecraft.net was asking for the usual way to get minecraft, which was to pay for it. I just wanted to double check if that is the correct way, as although I couldn't really see any other ways, I want to only have to pay the cost of minecraft again as a last resort.

i was able to play minecraft just fine but a day after it was working just fine, it started giving me this error. So i tried to search on YT, reddit, and other forum systems to no avail. I tried to repair the app, then un installed re installed. I then asked others and they had never seen it, or knew about it. I have tried to restart pc, and then tried to remove all mods and other things that arent initially in minecraft folder. Then i went back and tried ALL of these steps to the best of my ability. I tried switching wifi's aswell. If theres more i can do let me know, i also have a hijack this log if you would like it.

Also uninstall the Launcher, delete .minecraft folder (copy its content elsewhere before deletion) and then reinstall, restart your computer. Then please try to boot the Launcher.
