Play and Log out buttons greyed out on first run of launcher / launcher update
The current workaround for this issue is to delete the launcher profiles:
- In the launcher, click "Edit Profile" -> "Open Game Dir".
- Close the launcher.
- Delete the launcher_profiles.json file.

Reopened because of
MCL-2500Have managed to replicate twice, both occurred with a fresh start (no .minecraft present). The 'Play' and 'Log out' buttons are greyed out and the profile '(Default)' is selected. Development console: https://gist.github.com/stupid3700/7ea6b7281326c994282b
