Packed ice produces water when broken in creative
Packed ice produces water when brokenin creative
Breaking ice should produce a water source block in the overworld. (Without silk touch of course)
Packed ice shouldn't create a water source anywhere when broken, and that bug has been reported at MCPE-10385.
However, I wasn't able to reproduce creating a water source block in the nether. What enchants do you have on the pick in the picture?
Edit: Using a Fortune 3 pick, breaking the ice created a water source block in the nether In Creative Only
you're right - only affects creative - which I think is great just so long as it isn't happening in survival. Guess this could be closed and combined with MCPE-10385.

When you break ice in creative it produces water. This bug did not happen in previous versions of mcpe.

When breaking packed ice, it is suppose to drop nothing (Unless you have silk touch)

Breaking ice and packed ice in creative shouldn't produce water, this should only happen in survival. This would make building with ice in creative really annoying.
This happens in windows 10 (version 1.0.0) as well
Creative mode > Ice & pack ice turns into water > broken
Survival mode > Ice & pack ice turns into water > works as intended
not the most annoying bug at lest
