Cannot sprint while strafing on Android/ChromeOS education x86
When pushing A or D while sprinting on an x86 Android device/emulator or chromebook education edition, you will stop sprinting even if W is still held. This only seems to affect Intel processors, not AMD or ARM. x86_64 is also affected.
How to reproduce:
- Start Minecraft on an x86 Android device/emulator or x86 chromebook (only happens with education version on chromeos)
- Start sprinting forward
- Press A or D
Observed results:
You cannot sprint while A or D is held
Expected results:
You should be able to sprint while A or D is held

Can you upload a video of the issue?
Also, does this ONLY affect emulated game or were you able to reproduce on a true Chromebook device?
I was able to reproduce this on the education edition on chromebook. I have not tried the main version, but assume it is also affected. I can upload a video in a few hours.

1.20.15 diagonal sprint not working video
This affects Keyboard Input, basically all Android Ports will have this problem.
Emulators, Containers, Native, etc.
Edit: I don't know about iOS Keyboard Input yet (because I dont own an iPad) but 100% an issue in all sorts of Android Ports.
not fixed in 1.20.40.20 beta....
As a user of the unofficial Linux launcher (only option for me because of my devices known issues) I can safely say this issue has not been patched, but with testing, it does not happen with actual android devices that you connect a keyboard to anymore, so that's a step in the right direction. I would love for this issue to resolved as fast as it can be, because it is severely effecting my survival, pvp, and parkour gameplay, limiting me and others like me who suffer from this issue, to certain movement patterns that are unnatural or uncomfortable. I really hope this issue is easy to fix, and that a fix for it can be rolled out as fast as possible, because it's the most annoying issue I, and others like me, face right now regarding minecraft bedrock as a whole.
Can reproduce using the unofficial Linux launcher, sprinting just stops even if you hold CTRL and press A/D (intel CPU)
In stable version 1.20.51.01 and beta version 1.20.60.25 this bug still persists. Using laptop with Intel CPU with the unofficial Linux launcher to reproduce it.
I can still replicate this on the latest 1.21.0.22 beta. It is very annoying to play with this issue
Can confirm in stable version 1.21.2.02.
I have this issue with controller input as well.
I can confirm this bug. Sprint strafing/diagonal sprinting does not work, and when I try, I just start walking normally. Also on x86_64 intel CPU.
I also confirm that the problem still persists and is reproducible
I use an Intel x86_64 processor
Having the same issue here on x86_64
The bug is also present on 1.21.44.01. I am using the unofficial Linux launcher with an Intel CPU.
Edit: I hope that this issue is going to be resolved because, as pointed out in a previous comment, it has a negative impact on certain aspects of the game.
You can't do this unless ur moving forward and sprinting.
