When I I try to hit a large slime or a magma on its edges. It doesn't get actually hit. The hitbox is more likely it's center.

Can confirm this occurs for me as well
Confirmed to affect 1.0.4.11 & 1.0.5.0. The slime/magma cube hitboxes are smaller than in Java edition.
I can confirm it in 1.2.0.25
