Cannot do most actions with Bluetooth keyboard
The game won't recognize all input with a Bluetooth keyboard. I can type and send messages in the chat, yet I'm not able to move, jump, drop items, etc. I repeatedly reconnected my keyboard and changed keyboard controls in the game settings, and still nothing was working. The keyboard I’m using is a Kensington KeyFolio.

The game doesn't recognize all input with a Bluetooth Kensington KeyFolio keyboard. I can type and send messages in the in-game chat, yet I'm not able to move, jump, drop items, etc. I repeatedly tried reconnecting my keyboard and changing keyboard controls in the game settings, but I kept having no luck.

iPad Pro Smart Keyboard experiences severe limitation in what you can do with it.
You can:
- Use it in the chat screen to type messages.
- Use it in the chat screen to type commands.
You can't:
- Control the game with it. That is, jumping, moving around, opening your inventory and such like are not possible with the keyboard. Keys you type are simply ignored by the game and don’t move the character

According to MCPE-20685 it also affects Kensington KeyFolio (bluetooth).

Some of us play on our phones and it would much simpler to play with a keyboard
This is actually a long-standing known issue
