This feature is exclusive to higher-end devices.
Hi. This works as intended because your device does not have sufficiently high specs. Per the changelog for 1.2.0.22 "Jungle leaves are now transparent on higher-end devices when Fancy Leaves are enabled".

I'm using a Huawei PRA-LAX 1 2017 Android 8, I am having the same issue on beta version 1.17.30.20
Em pleno 2021, isso ainda não foi resolvido, eu uso um Samsung Galaxy S21 Android 10 e as folhas da selva são as únicas que não são transparentes.
